A FAMILY HOTEL, THE BEST IN BLYTHE
The care and attention of the owners and staff is unsurpassed!!!
We had to leave!!!
A quiet night, a hot shower, and a comfortable bed.
Quiet place. Perhaps it was the season but most of the occupants seem to be travellers looking for one overnight. Medium priced to Low priced room, compared with other motels/hotels nearby. A comfortable king bed. A modest but functional bathroom, that didn't seem claustrophobic. A Denny's just down the street, plus all manner of fast food nearby. (Although the Regency offers a free breakfast, we prefer a hot breakfast at Denny's) Free HBO and other premium channels on the TV. I don't know if that was just our room (an upgraded suite) or every room.
A few items in the room needed maintenance, and I mentioned them to the manager upon departure and he seemed appreciative and promised to take care of them.
Stained carpet. Broken ironing board. Not the cleanest hotel room I've stayed at.
There were weeds out front. The cable plug/faceplate hung out of the wall because the scotch tape didn't hold it to the wall. The bathroom door had a botched repair job.
Only one complaint
We stayed for one nught on the way to the coast. We had a small dog with us, so, as we have traveled with a dog before, we knew we would not be getting a luxery suite. The room was quite nice, the bathroom was very clean and nice...but the carpet was very dirty and pet stains everywhere. That was the only flaw in our stay. The staff was very friendly. Then we stayed again on the way home and were given another room which was much better. The carpet was like most rooms with pets. But not dirty like the first one was.
As i said, the only complaint was the very dirty, pet stained carpet in our room on our firstvstay.
