Pros: Do bear in mind there’s 2 properties - the Residenz is not in the palace but on the street. Located along the Rhine, lovely staff & restaurant.
Cons: Issue with the water flow in the shower. For the Residenz, very very thin walls!
Pros: Great location with very nice views of the river, watching all the ships go by. Authentic environment of the castle. Nice restaurant that stands out in the Koblenz area, plenty of parking. (For petrol heads, the Nurburgring is about 40 minutes away)
Cons: The exterior and lower floors of the castle are authentic, the rooms up are more modern in style. Facilities in the room are relatively basic. But these are just minor comments
Pros: Facing River Rhine, beautiful scenery
Cons: Room too small and toilet without ventilation
Pros: Historic venue. Music everywhere. Close to train station so easy to get to Koblenz.
Pros: breakfast, the options were vast, including champagne!
Pros: The building from the outside. The view from the room. Good breakfast and pleasant waitresses.
Cons: Bare room. No desk. No phone. No kettle. No fridge. No minibar. In fact nothing apart from a bed with an uncomfortable pillow, and a TV. No facilities at all in the hotel. Not even a bar or a reception desk. The woman on reception was a robot. No emotion visible and no appreciation at all of our complaints about paying €140 for a hard bed for one night, and a breakfast. Very disappointed. Wonderful potential but no effort to achieve it.
Pros: It was a palace...
Cons: I wasn't there long enough
Pros: Location next to the Rhine. Nice restaurant although expensive and limited choices
Cons: Not a serious hotel. Only part of the building used as a hotel. Remainder used as a music school with students trapsing in and out. Rooms in the attic and to get to room via lift meant going through the cleaning cupboard!
With a stay at food hotel Neuwied in Neuwied, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Deichwelle Neuwied and Neuwied Castle. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
Pros: Location as close to work place. Stayed before so expectations the same
Cons: Lighting problem in room meaning morning shower was undertaken in the dark.outlined on comments form for room. This is not first time I have experienced an electrical in this hotel. Last time was 4 years ago.
Pros: Original "concept" hotel - everything based on food supermarket style. In the city center, but still a quiet location. Rooms are not very big, but convenient and very clean. There is an on-site restaurant (buffet-style) and bar. Convenient parking possibilities behind the hotel. Good and extensive breakfast.
Cons: Not much charm, business-style hotel. Rooms have airco, unfortunately it did not work in my room...
Pros: Nice hotel with beautyful design, pretty new, and clean. It was a parking lot behid the hotel.
Cons: I would like to have more space in a room, even if I am alone.
Pros: Nice modern hotel with clean rooms, nice bistro and friendly staff.
Cons: They have self check-in and check-out which did not work. There was only one receptionist in the rush hour check out time and so we had to wait around 20 minutes to check out. A NO-GO...

The restaurant is available upon prior reservation for groups of a minimum of 10 people.
Pros: Very quiet and a nice building.
Cons: Old beds which are really uncomfortable. No 24/7 reception. No lifts. As rooms are on the 2/3rd floor you need to carry up all the luggage. Old carpet which was even a bit dirty.
Pros: Super-mega-hyper friendly staff. Owner of the hotel returned 20 km to hotel to make late check in. He showed all facilities, tell history of this place and invited my friend who bring us to the hotel for the breakfast. I never see so kind and friendly hotel owner before.
Renovated in 2007, this family-run hotel enjoys a central location in Neuwied and offers Wi-Fi internet access in all rooms. Within the immediate surroundings you find several shopping streets, and the Rhine can be reached on foot in a matter of minutes.
Pros: It was cozy for a one night stay.
Cons: The room It was a little bit to small for 3 persons and the breakfast was too poor.
Pros: The breakfast was pretty good and the staff was very friendly.
Cons: The shower, toilet and some tiles in the bathroom were chipped, which made everything look a bit shabby. The bedroom could have been vacuumed better.
Pros: Excellent welcome very clean and would definitely stay again highly recommending
Cons: All goodbyes
Pros: Good breakfast. Comfortable room. Clean room.
Cons: No dedicated parking.
Pros: Excellent location, easy on-street parking. Spotless and very pleasant breakfast room. The appearance of the hotel from outside was unprepossesing and belied the lovely public rooms. Great for an overnight stop. Opposite the excellent Thirsty Lion pub, for dinner after a long drive.
Cons: The room was slightly tired.
Pros: The staff were very nice. Nikki went out of her way to make our stay a pleasant one even making scrambled eggs. She also spoke excellent English and was very friendly.

Pros: It was really awesome, very clean, very kind people and the location was amazing! I seeped so well and really enjoy my time. Also there are great restaurants around like 'Toscana'.
Pros: Both the staff and the room were very welcoming after a long journey. The room was clean and comfortable and had a very contemporary feel to it.
Cons: The mini bar / fridge was out of order.
Pros: Rooms a short walk away from schloss but large, modern and clean. B'fast was superb and easily the best we had during our stay in the Rhine.
Cons: Food in Restaurant v good but wine expensive (no bottle for less than 23 euro).
Pros: The Staff was friendly at the reception. Very friendly in the restaurant ( which offers excellent food) but was rather empty that evening, just another table.
Cons: From the website you might understand you will sleep in a castle at very attractive prices. In fact the lower pricing is offering rooms in a guest house located at 300 m distance from the reception. Rooms are clean, but located on the side of a very busy trafic road. So If you want to sleep in the castle you will have to book higher prices rooms. Not also sure the price from the Booking.Com reservation was the same than the one invoiced.
Pros: It was a beautiful palace. The staff was more than courteous and helpful.
Cons: Information said breakfast was $8.00 per person. While my son and I had only coffee the first morning and nothing the second morning, $32 was added to the room cost. a surprize, but am writing them directly as it could have just been an assumption on someone's part.
Pros: calm, peaceful
Cons: Wifi was not working on the 2nd floor and the photos on the internet did not reflect the reality (it is the Gästehaus and not the Schloss, so please make it clear)
Pros: Clean modern well equipped guest room, tasteful bathroom, excellent breakfast.
Cons: The distance from the guesthouse to the hotel. There was no parking as stated due to the grounds being laid out for an open air concert. The evening meal was a disaster despite a fabulous menu A formal complaint was made and the cost was deducted from the bill. It took 2 hours from starter to main course, despite several complaints
