I do have to say, on the other hand, the food here was quite good, lots of options and variety. The drinks also weren’t the watered down ones you usually find at all-inclusives. And we really enjoyed the shows at night.
We were incredibly disappointed in our stay at the Paloma Grida. We stayed in 8 hotels in various parts of Turkey during our trip and this was the only bad experience we had. The resort appears to be understaffed and is in a constant state of being overwhelmed. The result being if you have a question or a problem, it’s difficult to get them to really focus on your situation and address the issue. We had to call them to our room about 8 times to try and get the air conditioning working. They finally got it where the room was tolerable, but never was cold. We also had to have them fix our fridge which didn’t get cold at all, and they ended up replacing it with one that at least almost sort of kept things cold. Our biggest frustration though was that they limited the hours of the water slides and splash pad which we we found unnecessary and frustrating. The splash pad was only on for one hour in the morning and one in the afternoon (11am to 12pm) (3pm - 4pm). The water slides and such were turned on at 10 and then off at 12, then back on from 2-5. We also felt that the shops took advantage of the fact that most people had Euros and severely overcharged for even the smallest things. A pack of cigarettes at this resort for example cost what we payed in Fethiye (a wonderful marina town also full of tourist) for an awesome all day boat tour around the islands with a terrific lunch included for me and my daughter.
The swimming pools. The ambiance, the location
The rooms, the comfort, the stuff
Got early checkin & late checkout, free upgrade to Lake Villas, excellent variety of food for all meals, amazing choice of beverages, fantastic entertainment on all days, always smiling and cheerful staff going beyond their duty to please . It was a dream vacation for us. Keep it up!
Everything exceeded expectations
Overall the food was very good, diverse and tasteful. Swimming pools are clean and fun.
Internet could be better inside the room
Hotel very big and nice, beautiful beach with view to mountains. Good food, all inclusive.
No like the payment, usually all hotels charge you from credit card, this time payment was from my bank, and I was charged 40 € more for the commissions.
Nestled on the beach, this Belek Golf Area property is within a 15-minute walk of Cornelia Golf Club and Belek Mosque. Troy Aqua and Dolphinarium is 3 mi (4.8 km) away.
