The room was very nice and comfortable.
The breakfast wasn't very good in terms of quality, quantity, or value. The room rate at 250+ Euros/night was overpriced for a typical 3-star hotel. WiFi was spotty.

A great hotel, staff needs some training in customer care.
The hotel is located in the heart of the city and is close to everything. The first room we had was perfect, comfortable and quite. The hotel is decorated with WWII memorabilia, I found it terrific. The staff was friendly and very attentive until you had a problem.
To make it short and sweet, the first three nights were great, the forth not so much, the hotel made a mistake and gave our room away for the fourth night. After a lot of back and forth they managed to find another room in the hotel for us. The room was much smaller, louder and not near as comfortable but we dealt with it. The morning of the fourth day we woke up early to check out and make our way to Paris, there was no hot water available (possibly because everyone in the hotel was taking showers). We informed the front desk that we had no hot water and they told us there is nothing wrong with the water and obviously we were mistaken. Also no compensation was offered for the booking screw up. After expressing our displeasure they offered us a free breakfast, which was too little too late. I will not stay at this hotel again, calling your customer a liar is not a good way to create repeat business.

Great location...great staff!
Charming & quaint. No elevators but staff personally carried our bags up to 3rd floor. Everyone friendly & helpful. Booking was a breeze. Located right on the main street in the heart of everything in the village. Woke up to the amazing weekly street market in progress right in front of the hotel. Flowers, vegetables, breads, cheeses, meats, fish, crafts, even a magician with magic tricks for the young ones. Best of all (which we didn't know) we could have walked to the hotel from the train station! Had we known, we'd not have had to wait at the station 25 minutes for a five minute cab ride!!!! So for those with rolling cases, be advised you can stroll to the Churchill on your own in only a few minutes. Loved this place. Near to everything & the hop on, hop off train is within a few minutes walk to see the whole village.
