I worked night shift, so I slept during the day and it was quiet unlike stays at other places. The bed was comfortable and I liked the size of the room.
Worst Microtel I've ever stayed at
Like some Microtels they have full size beds they call queens (my wife measured it, only 54 inches across instead of 60) and they are very hard. Outdated TVs, tiny very scratchy and well worn towels, the smallest rooms used in the Microtel chain, smoky and filled with mold. The bathroom sink was partially clogged so it only drained slowly. Thin walls so on the first floor you hear everything. The staff was rude and all but the night clerk was foreign and spoke poor English which was surprising because they were mostly Pakistani or Indian. VERY poor Microtel, go somewhere else.
This was a last minute purchase, the price was okay.
Upon arrival, we were not greeted by the clerk. She never looked up. The hotel needs a lot of cosmetic upgrades!!! We had a queen with a pull out. We had to ask for sheet and a blanket. The coffee tray and packages was covered with dust. The couch and window sill cover had noticeable stains. The couch mattress was horrible, I felt springs in my back all night, We missed the breakfast because it was over at 9:30, what???
Great location safe area.
We were on vacation in Baton Rouge and it was very convenient to have a miniature golf course next door to play around on.
Parking lot was a bit small but not too bad.
Kind of small
