Pros: Small hotel , very clean and comfortable, we arrived on a Sunday and parking was a problem due to the locals on the beach , but by the evening we could park our car in a parking infront of the hotel , lovely and quiet for a relaxing couple of days , stunning beach just across the road from the hotel and all amenities that u need , shops bars restaurants etc , situated in a local but nice area

Pros: This is a very comfortable hotel, in a convenient location. Our room had everything you might need, with the added bonus of a large terrace. The cleaners were thorough and all the staff, of which there were few, could not have been more helpful. Parking, out of season, was both free and plentiful. The hotel is a few steps from the beach, bars and restaurants.

Cons: There is nothing much to actually complain about. We would have liked to have a water heater in the room for preparing the meals for the baby, but we found a solution with the help of the staff.

Pros: The location was great, but the facilities were somehow disappointing. we used two rooms and one was really warm with air condition that was not able to cope and there was a smell of damp that was very off putting. It did the job for what we needed but I don't think it was good value for money.
Cons: Staff were helpful and the location was good. One of the rooms was very tidy and clean and with really good air condition. The breakfast was ok.

Pros: Location fabulous and gorgeous, whether you want to just hang out at the hotel or travel to the nearby beach or large city of Cadiz. It's the kind of place you could stay for quite a while, given the number of options for different kinds of activities. Also has a really cozy bar and restaurant. Very nice to our dog.
Cons: The Internet and cell phone connection was inconsistent. I understand that it's due to the location and for us, it didn't cause a real problem, but if someone wanted to work there, it could be difficult (which is sad, because it's a fabulously quiet, tranquil spot to get some work done).

Cons: The WiFi network didn’t work all day/night and there’s no service in the hotel. The hotel is literally in the middle of the forest and getting there at night was an adventure as they don’t have any signs/lights - it would have been nice if they had advised us before our arrival. Bedroom walls are super thin which means you can even hear your neighbours coughing

Pros: We loved staying in this beautiful quiet location. There was no light pollution so the stars at night were fantastic. The room was very comfortable. The swimming pool was great. The huge dovecote (the biggest in the world) was very interesting. Our evening meal was delicious.

Pros: We visited hotel in February. It was easy access by car and find a parking space. Room was very clean and warm.
Cons: All the restaurants were 800 meters away (downhill), you need good shoes to walk. Hotel had no breakfast but there was a cafe near by on Sunday morning. The double bed should have two separate pillows. We could hear all the noise from the corridor.

Pros: Location very picturesque and within an easy drive of the coast. We ate in the hotel restaurant the first night, Saturday and the food was very good. The entrecôte steak and steak burger was excellent with a Turkish Messe starter. The steak was local a literally melted in the mouth. We would have eaten in this restaurant again but it was closed the other two nights we stayed. Vejer de la Frontera is a really pretty town about 10 mins drive with a number of very Spanish eating houses, easy free parking with a short steep uphill walk.
Cons: One of our main criteria when selecting a rural hotel was that restaurant facilities were provided. It was not made Lear that the restaurant is closed on Mondays. Restaurant are available locally but are a car drive away and a number of these also close on Mondays severely reducing the choice unless you are prepared to drive to Vejer town. Breakfast was adequate. Limited choice. Very disappointed with Conil and Barbate although the beach is great for the family take some shade.

Pros: Loved everything. The view is wonderful, the building itself is beautiful and our room lovely and comfortable. The hosts were warm, friendly and professional. We were able to drive easily to various great little towns nearby, but the hotel is in a quiet and restful position in a rural setting. The breakfast and our dinners in the restaurant were also excellent.

Pros: A beautifully restored traditional building in a very quiet area. Rooms are large and very clean. The swimming pool is very pleasant. It is a 15-20 minute drive to nearby beaches (be warned: very busy in August). Owners and personnel are very helpful and friendly. We loved the stay here
