Price. Location is very close to a subway station (MRT) WiFi performance has improved compare to my previous stays
Very dated room. It has not changed in 8 years. Lots of tour groups. They can be noisy if you are on the same floor with them. The 'Superior' room category is really dated - no flat panel TV, no coffe in the room (only tea). Towels are really thin. Avoid it.
There is nothing to like about this hotel
it was close to a temple we needed to go for funeral services.
I paid the same price as my cousin, he had "Deluxe" and I ended up with "Superior". Nothing suggested the difference between "superior" and "Deluxe" room when we booked on the website. Bare minimum for "superior" room, hard bed, no coffee service in room, old TV set, no bath robe, no slippers.
large rooms, excellent restaurants. now includes indian cuisine too. gym swim pool and free internet. great value
now becoming busy and many functions
This is a great place to stay from any aspect. Excellent English speaking staff and well maintained facilities. But sometimes it's the little things that count. For me it's great water pressure for the bath and shower, 600 thread count sheets and matresses that make you want to stay another day! The subway is just a few blocks away and from there you can go anywhere in Bangkok. This is by far the best value I've found in Bangkok -- or pretty much the world -- for hotel stays.
The close proximity to the subway train station.
Requesting for hot water was frustrating. No Communication within the various departments.
Well-appointed, elegant, and spacious, our 402 guestrooms and suites reflect a tasteful and refined Thai sensibility that easily characterizes the Ramada Chao Phya Park by Wyndham. Located right in the middle of Bangkok Comercial district and next to the public transporation MRT; close to a lot of shopping centers, department stores, and markets; Easy access to the up country by the express way; The Bali Spa and Thai massage center provide a total of 70 treatment rooms.
