10,0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean, rooms super big and amazing staff. Food also super!!!
Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Variety of breakfast was great and we enjoyed it very much. The room interior was classical and luxury atmosphere, and the bathroom was modern and well functioning, and it was very comfortable for us.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: For a relatively small town, prices are surprisingly high in Ravensburg, and Gasthof Engel is not exactly cheap either. But compared to other hotels of this category, the Engel has much nicer rooms, great beds, excellent bathrooms and a really fine breakfast. Among the higher class hotels in Ravensburg, this is definitely the best deal.
Cons: There are a few things that are not ideal, but that's nothing the hotel can change. It's located right at the biggest city square, and if you like to keep the windows open at night, the noise can have a bit of an effect on your sleep. But I don't know any hotel in Ravensburg that is not affected by this. And it's moderate, most of the time. Another thing - the kitchen of the restaurant that is part of Gasthof Engel is as busy as the food is good. It's an historic building, and the smells travel a little. But they are really trying to keep this at a minimum. So it is a factor in the hallways, hardly ever in the rooms themselves.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Variety of breakfast was great and we enjoyed it very much. The room interior was classical and luxury atmosphere, and the bathroom was modern and well functioning, and it was very comfortable for us. They prepared a baby bed for our 2 year old child, which was very nice.
6,3 Good
Pros: Very nice location, comfortable room
Cons: Bad personnel at breakfast time: not friendly, not ready to support, very unpleasant experience.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Very quiet room and friendly staff. Breakfast terrific value for money.
Cons: No parking, but public parking close by.
7,0 Good
Pros: Good breakfast although it had to be ordered the night before and the requested scrambled eggs came as an omelet. Clean, spacious room. Modern furniture and kitchen. Good value for money.
Cons: No lift. Room on the third floor. No help with the luggage for an old couple. Some unfriendly staff. On the booking confirmation we were promised a safe and a telephone. Neither could be found. Two lamps did not work. Worst of all: there is no escape route in case of fire except the narrow staircase. The room is under the roof of an old building with lots of timber.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and facility overall
Cons: N/A
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The room was fantastic
Cons: Parking a bit tricky

9,6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast room has such a nice atmosphere, you feel at home immediately. And the guest rooms are very special with old furniture, reflecting the South of Germany well.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast and very friendly staff both in the restaurant and at the reception. Location is amazing and nearby are some decent restaurants. Happy to come back to the Rutenfest!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: My mum and I stayed at the Obertor for a week. We were given a family room (a double bedroom, living room and a bunkbed/luggage room) which was a really nice surprise. It was so good to have the extra space to relax in, rather than having just the one room. The hotel is very well located, with restaurants, shops and museums close by - and we had a great view onto the main street. The decor is charming and everything was extremely clean and well cared for. All the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.. The breakfast buffet was fantastic! A lovely selection of cheese, eggs, cold meats, smoked salmon, vegetables, cereals, yoghurts, jams, breads, coffee, teas, juices - just perfect! Free Wifi (although a bit patchy at times) Free car parking is available at the back of the hotel for hotel guests. Highly recommend!
Cons: There is no AC - It did get quite hot at night, so AC would have been a welcome addition for a cooler night's sleep! There is no lift - Those with difficulties climbing stairs, should request a ground/first floor room.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location and convenient parking.
Cons: Nothing at all!

Pros: The location was very good. Showers were great
Cons: Breakfast was not fantastic. No fruit or breakfast tea.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: The central location and the politeness and friendliness of the personnel. I had as well a dinner in the evening, great local food.
Cons: Nothing specific
7,1 Good
Cons: The hotel is located just around the roudabout. That is why the car noisy is too bad. Furthermore, there is no airconditioning.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean, Wifi was ok (not a strong signal but good bandwidth). Street parking after 2pm is free. Bed was comfortable and noise level was low.
Cons: Check-in is across the street in downtown Ravebsburg - especially cumbersome walk when its raining. This could be solved with automated checkin machines.
