Staff were super attentive, they were really good with the kids. There is a good vibe about the place, one lady in particular was a huge advocate of the ongoing development (wish I had took her name) and was happy to show us around and it resulted in us booking up for the Christmas Family Ceilidh. The food was lovely, best porridge I've had for breakfast and they even got nutella and strawberries as an added extra for my girls breakfast pancakes (happy kiddos) cant wait to return and see the barn/ballroom all finished. The grounds are lovely too, we were perfectly timed for conquar collecting.
Lovely bedroom very well cleaned, friendly staff, make welcome.
Big let down as bed was not comfy, loud noise all night from boiler.☹
Room Upgrade to Suite but halve of the lights not working in the rooms
Breakfast not before 8.15 am so not convenient for early Golfer or Business people
The food was a good price and decent, the bar dining area was lovely to sit at and the staff were attentive and could not be more helpful. On booking in we were offered a complimentary upgrade from the annex to the main hotel.
The upgraded room was a little dated and I had booked breakfast in the room rate and due to my early start 8am I was informed that the night porter would arrange breakfast, this did not happen and he was unable to assist when asked therefore my wife and I had to leave without any breakfas.
That I could leave after 1 night after booking 3
Don’t believe the photos they put you in the farm yard at the back in Zak dingles style house,no phone signal no WiFi so if you’ve got family at home or work to do your snookered
