Cons:I hired a golf or similar. Arriving at the car rental I was warned that they do not work with golf or similar and that the website kayak was responsible for the incorrect information. I was provided a nissan versa, car much cheaper than golf.Reviewed Jun 4 2018

Wonderful ExperiencePros:AVIS Montevideo was exceptional. The checkout was fast, courteous, and professional. There was some confusion regarding the location, which wasn't at the port as listed but at another location in Montevideo. They quickly reimbursed my cab from the port to the new location. Secondly, we had an issue with the rental car in Punta del Este and the AVIS location there also had a great customer service. We had a new car and were back on the road within minutes. Overall a great experience.Reviewed Jan 19 2017
