Great location, very friendly staff.

The room was dark at night and the bathroom was a good size.
The property is dated. The carpet and decor in the halls and rooms are dated and tired. The door to the balcony didn’t close properly and let in a draft. Considering it’s supposed to be one of Auckland’s best hotels and you pay a premium for a room, this is disappointing. The lobby bar was understaffed in the morning and the one barrister/sever was clearly stressed and there was a wait for service and food (not her fault - the hotel should have more staff). This is unacceptable for a high quality hotel. On the Saturday we were there the live music at the hotel bar was dreary and depressing, and we ended up going elsewhere for a drink. The high price you pay doesn’t match the service/standard of the hotel in reality.
Bed side lamps abit dusty
It was pricy with location being the big item.
No jacuzzi, high prices for everything ($5.5/oyster), G&T ($14).
Breakfast is amazing at the Hilton, can't say the same for the room and sleep. They can do better on value for money otherwise I would just go back for the breakfast.
