Pros: Fantastic ski break at Tschuggen grand hotel. It has private ski lift and all ski equipment rental at the hotel so convenient! We really enjoyed the spa the swimming pool. We have tried all restaurants during our stay and they are all great! Also had a lovely time at Parisian themed New Years evening party. The staff is so helpful and friendly thus made our stay very pleasant.

Pros: - perfect location, proper "ski-to-door" experience - staff is excellent, kind and attentive, from reception, concierge to cleaning, restaurant and kids club staff. They went the extra mile and even helped us to resolve an unusual unexpected situation with one of our children. - the sevice is top class, everything revolves around the guest. Also lots of nice small perks for kids (e.g. kids bathrobe, soft toy, kids bathrobe and slippers, bedding, etc). - the Alpine Spa is just breathtakingly beautiful. And not busy, we could have it almost for ourselves most of the time. - Design and facilities: everything is so tastefully balanced, well thought through, made for comfort and pampering. And the panorama!! - this is one of the few hotel that manages it very well to be classy and elegant but also very child-friendly (and dog friendly) at the same time. - we tried 3 of the restaurants (Taverne, Ahaan Thai and Stuva) and liked all of them too. Thank you, this was our best winter holiday so far!

Cons: The restaurant manager only say hi to selected guests which I found rude. The rest he doesn’t care! Some waiters are rude if you don’t sounds swiss! I booked thus hotel because it us close to the ski school. Otherwise I would never go there.

Pros: Breakfast and dinner are perfect! Really good. the portions are rather small, but delicious, and by my opinion it should be like that. There is also a kinder club in the hotel with very nice staff, children love it! But the club is open only in the afternoon, though mornings children can come and play by themselves.

Cons: The pictures of the hotel/rooms are of the family rooms only. This makes a confusion, as most of the rooms in the hotel do not look like that nice renovated rooms with a cozy design. They are rather old, only bathrooms are renovated. This was a bit disappointing. The beds are also old and not comfortable, neater pillows. I find really essential for a good rest the quality of sleep - really could be better. But as the service is extraordinary we've accepted this mismatch with our expectations.

Cons: The photos are fake. This is outdated 3 star hotel, not a modern 4 star hotel. Rooms are old since 10 years ago. The lobby is not renovated my first impression was did i really pay 250 a night for this value? Choose a hotel where you really going to experience what you pay for. No airport shuttle, actually it costs 650 CHF. Staff is not really polite. More like just standing there at front desk. They can't even call a taxi. Is this a 4 star hotel behavior?

Cons: The hotel is not like on the photos. It is not a 4 star hotel but outdated hotel. Definitely not good value for the money you are paying. The say they have airport shuttle but then they tell you it costs 650 CHF. There is only on every half an hour shuttle to train station. And if you ask staff to call you taxi they give you a phone number and tell u to call them although you don't speak german. I would not recommend this hotel.

Pros: This is a great value and the staff is splendid. They made sure to guide us on hikes and restaurants that made sense for the family. The Fairytale apartment was a fun twist for the kids. The place is clean, inviting, and spacious. Great breakfast. Easy walk to town. Parking lots are close after you drive up and take out your luggage. Highly recommend!

Pros: Thumbs up for the flexibility regarding the breakfast. There was a trailrun that day and the hotel offered breakfast from 6.30am instead of 7.30am! Excellent service! Our room was clean, no doubt. But given the price, we would have expected a bit more. A small TV and it was quite dark in the room, otherwise all good! Staff was very friendly!!

Pros: The location of the appartment is good, facilities (sauna, parking, bread service in the morning) are good.
Cons: The apartment we were staying in was quite outdated (probably the original interior from the 1970s). Some appartments have been refurbished (think Ikea) and look decent. The kitchen did not have a dishwasher, and was not very practical (small fridge, small outdated and dirty oven). The bedroom was very basic with basic beds. The living room did not have a couch. It is unclear what the opening times of the reception were. Friends of us booked a studio for less, and were in the end upgraded to a refurbished apartment.

Cons: The problem is that the hotel is either a charming mountain lodge nor a modern boutique hotel, it is something in between and feels just old. There are very questionable peaces of furniture all around the hotel probably at the owner's taste but truly not beautiful. The breakfast is quite poor for such an expensive hotel.
