Cons: The access to the hotel, being in a restricted area was a little difficult when arriving by car for the first time. We had to leave the car in a parking bay near the hotel and ask the reception if we could drop our luggage off and where to park the car overnight as the hotel had no parking facilities.

Cons: Obsolete. With the exception of the people who help with luggage the staff is unwelcoming to say the least. The room does not even have decent plugs near the bed, had to disconnect the lamp to connect the phone. Ok for a stopover but a 4star hotel it isn't.

We were personally greeted on arrival with coffee and cantuci, they made sure that everything is settled and that we have all we need and we are happy with our apartments. In general, hotel fully met our expectations. A good place to spend a night or two while traveling across Italy. It should be noted that hotel is located right next to the railway, but the windows are good isolated and it did not disturb us even a bit in the night.

Cons: The bedroom was very large but with old (not antique like) furniture. Also the ceiling was a beautiful fresco!! It could have been charming but there was a bedspread that was in style 50 years ago that was white quilted with orange pink and red flowers. It was ugly. The bed was not Comfortable. The bath fixtures and bath tub (in the bedroom) has been updated. If the bedding had been updated to something neutral that matched the fresco and had some throw pillows in some complimentary colors, the whole Room would have looked better. I do not think the floors and furniture were very clean.

Cons: It was difficult to access the street of the hotel. It was supposed to have parking, but it didn't had. The furniture is not in the best state. The restaurant is only open for groups. Breakfast was simple. On checkout, receptionist almost forgot to apply Genious discount.

Pros: Wonderful little hotel, friendly and welcoming staff, room was comfortable and quiet. A delicious breakfast was served at the cafe next door with plenty of options and coffee made any way you like it. Location was excellent with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Very easy access to the train station, only 5 minutes walk away.

Pros: Excellent communication with Monica, since the beginning of my booking till the end of my trip. She went the extra mile to accommodate my requests. Extremely polite and professional staff. Breakfast was served at the adjacent bar "Caffetteria Paris". Best cappuccino ever! Simple and nice breakfast. Delicious Spritz prepared by the adorable Sara. Great location for sightseeing Arezzo and very handy if you are traveling by train as the station is just less than 5 minutes walk. Thank you Monica and Sara and all the rest of L'Aretino's staff for making our short trip to Arezzo a very pleasant one.

Pros: Our host Monika was fantastic, helping with a lot of information/map and general history. I am on a wheelchair and found the apartment design to be excellent, despite the limited space. It was a European breakfast, mostly cold cakes and like, apart from meats and cheese - somewhat limited for a vegetarian. Coffee was excellent.

Parking your car to offload luggage is a no no, you can park off street for 1 night in a selected area then must move to a pay car park thats 3klm away . Breakfast was included via the next door cafe. Monica owner /receptionist is a happy friendly person. So this accomodation is handy for the local tourist attractions.

The breakfast was what you could call continental plus that was self-serve. But what was a bonus, was that you could also help yourself to an extra sandwich or toast and a cup of tea in the evening, if you felt a little peckish. All in all very good value for the money.

Cons: Although it wasn't that far with a taxi from Arezzo station, I found it a little difficult at first to find the way into Arezzo town, it was partly along a very trafficated road (though I should probably have asked about it more specifically before I left). And although not all that far (I think 2 km), it felt a little uncomfortable to walk back at night, so the second night I took a taxi. I did though find out later that they have bicycles to borrow, which might have been a better option.
