Duke's 8th Avenue Hotel

Duke’s 8th Avenue Hotel in Anchorage is right in downtown and offers suites that have kitchenettes and separate living spaces that are well-suited to stays of any length of time. Travelers who have business requiring a longer stay in the Alaskan city or those just looking for a quick getaway will find amenities meant to meet their needs at this location.

The 26 rooms at the hotel are all suites with either one or two bedrooms. Guests will find fully-equipped kitchens where they can make some of their own meals, free Internet service, pillowtop mattresses, and TVs with digital programming included. Rooms are meant to feel more like a home than a hotel room. Some rooms have views of the mountains in the distance from large living rooms with picture windows.

Duke’s 8th Avenue Hotel does not have its own restaurant. There are several that are easy to get to off the property, however. The Crow’s Nest in only six minutes from the hotel walking. Glacier Brewhouse is the same. Others that are just as close include Kobuk Coffee Co and Wild Scoops.

Anchorage is a city with a lot to see and do, and Duke’s 8th Avenue Hotel is right smack in the middle of much of it. The Dena'ina Convention Center is just across the street from the property. Other attractions that are close by include the Anchorage Museum of History and Art, the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts, and the Anchorage 5th Avenue Mall.
