Staff are amazing
Check in process not that good
Location is wonderful but the wonderful service by the male attendants at the Concierge made the stay most enjoyable.
On the other hand, one female person at the concierge station was rude and condescending. My first question to her was about the name of the restaurant - i was somewhat confused as the name in the info booklet in the room did not conform to what I saw when walking around the lobby. She insisted there was just one name. Then I asked to confirm a reservation that had been made by our travel agent. She informed me that there was no such reservation - with again a condescending air. But informed me there was no problem and she could book us. OK - but I was surprised as our travel agent usually does a good job. I returned to our room and contacted the agent who forwarded me your confirmation email. Soooo - I brought it to the desk and showed it to her. I am insulting tone she told me -- oh yes, the name of the restaurant had been changed and in the turnover the reservation must have been lost --- and then - barked "It's not my fault" Never an apology or any kind of acknowledgement that my intial question should have been answered differently. As I stated above, this was even more of a shock as all my other contacts with others at the desk had been wonderful. She is in the wrong job!!!
Breakfast was great and the Staff for breakfast was outstanding.
Tired and noisy neighbours
The staff are amazing, the hotel is amazing and the location is excellent.
They hold 150 Euro per day for extras. No other hotel does this ...we paid full accommodation 6 months ahead and then another 750 Euro. We spent 7.50 Euro at the hotel.
