Ernesto was a very gracious host. The location was excellent. The room was comfortable.
I have three concerns. First is the the property itself. This is a four story building. As noted by many reviewers, there is a long staircase. The stairs are very narrow and spiral to the top floor. It is not an easy climb, especially if you have been to a bar or coffee shop. I felt the stairs are a major safety issue. Second, the noise level. There is a courtyard in front of the property which creates an echo chamber. There are several bars around the corner and as people leave the bars, at 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning, they are very loud, making sleep difficult. Several reviewers complained about the noise during the summer with the need to keep the window open. We were there in the winter and it was still loud. In fairness, closing the heavy drape over the window did reduce the noise level somewhat. Third is the bathroom situation. Although it technically has a "private bath", be aware the bathroom is down a short hallway, not in the room. As a result, the bathroom is in a public area. My wife found it uncomfortable having to leave the room and go down the hall to use the toilet or going to and from the shower.
Location. Room was very clean and comfortable.
There was no signage for accommodation. Had to go into the Italian restaurant to ask if we were at the right location.
The room is very spacious We had a floor of our own Great location
is a private location, size of the room and cleansiness
The restroom is outside of the bedroom
Location, staff great. Clean and tidy accommodation.
Difficult to find, unless you know exactly where it is.
