Cons: Bed a bit too hard for me.

Pros: The location is fantastic, unique view on the bay and walking distance from the lovely Alghero historical centre. The hotel restaurant is very recommended and serves excellent local dishes and wines. The large pool is quiet with enaugh sunbeds for everyone. Would certainly recommend this hotel!

Cons: The hotel bar could be more fun or entertaining.

Pros: Breakfast very good. Omelettes were the best ever. All staff were very friendly. Frequented by Italians, which is always a good sign. Huge pool and lots of sun beds and parasols. Nice easy walk into the Old Town. We dined twice in the evening. Excellent food. There was also an excellent restaurant on the beach not five minutes walk away from the hotel which did the largest pizzas ever seen (1 metre long!) Highly recommended. Caught the local Beach Hoppa bus which was good value and with an hours trip each way, calling at beaches and other places, it was a very good way of getting around.

Cons: Nothing to be done about it but there was some road noise as there was a road between the hotel and the sea, but it was not too bad and I have experienced worse.

Pros: Very clean, helpful staff at the reception, if you ask for something.

Cons: The maids are shouting in the hallways, cleaning each morning for more than 3 hours. Also the service is not 5-star worthy. They leave a leaflet for you to order breakfast in the room, but the next morning the leaflet was still on my door, and no breakfast was ordered. Also, there is no one to help you with the luggage, even though the access is complicated with luggage.

Pros: The hotel is perfectly located with amazing ocean views. If you are into running, the beach walk is beautiful. All the hotel is extremely clean and the staff is very aggreable. Breakfast is also great with many food choices. I would definitely come back!

Pros: Great location, with wide and clean room. I booked for a standard room but they gave me an upgrade with sea view. Bar and swimming pool were great. The staff super polite and professional. Recommend for those who wants relax, cuddle and no worries.

Cons: The hotel parking is not that big so you have to find a parking spot on the street. It’s just fine but I suggest to reserve some of the parking outside for the hotel guests.

Pros: The location was excellent. The parking area of the hotel was full; but we could find a park spot on the road near the hotel with no cost.

Cons: At the pool we wanted to eat something. Only one type of sandwich was present. There were no alternatives. We could not eat at the restaurant for lunch or dinner, because it was always closed.

Pros: Everything about this hotel was just perfect, location, cleanliness, comfort and friendliness and professionalism of staff. I would have no hesitation recommending this as the perfect place to stay in Aleghero. Breakfast was just fabulous, superb buffet and excellent standard of food and choice, overlooking the marina.......fab view. No doubt I will be back.

Pros: The location is absolutely amazing, walking distance to the marina, city center, all the restaurants, about 10-15 min to the hotel's beach. The staff is really nice and helpful. The breakfast has a great view over the marina. There's a big parking next to the hotel (1euro/h).

Cons: Fyi - The hotel's beach is actually approx. 15 min walk (about 1,5 km away) and access is pemitted only on certain rows. Also, there's a strong algae smell, not really pleasent for a longer period of time.

Pros: Superb location, great parking garage option nearby. Excellent choice of food at breakfast, including gluten free bread. Very comfortable bed, good sized room with plenty of space, hangers and drawers. Incredibly helpful staff who advised us what to do when we sadly got a parking ticket in Porto Ferro - a known ploy by the local constabulary.

Cons: The water pressure in the shower was pretty poor. Getting served with a cocktail in the sky bar was very slow.

Pros: Great location in close walking vicinity to beautiful old center of Alghero with plenty of restaurants. The breakfast location on roof top was excellent with magnificent view over old city and sea. The ambiance and friendly staff was great. Also liked the free option of beach loungers and parasol at beachclub which was on a 15 mins walking distance along the beach.

Cons: Missed seating opportunity in the lobby area.

Cons: Extremely soft uncomfortable mattresses. I had backpain after the first night, even my son (10 years old) had muscle contractures, during the second night by back blocked. I had to cancel activities, change bed, be visited by doctors, take medication, it affected all my holidays. When the problem raised the kind staff sticked to the claim people like their matresses rather than providing a solution. I offered many (changing bed, putting mattress to an hard surface as doctor had claimed it to be mandatory) but I did not get any help, I had to move away and the hotel asked me full payment for the remaining nights. Don't count on them for solving problems they created!! Complete disalignment with welcome message "your satisfaction is our satisfaction".

Pros: Great location. Lovely modern decorated rooms all with great air con climate control temp. Super breakfast and a lovely rooftop pool with great views.

Cons: The breakfast was poor in variety and quality. Wifi is chargeable at 1 euro per day and it doesn't even reach to the pool area.

Nice pool area. 20 mins walk into old town with lots going on. Its one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in.

Cons: Outdated furniture, lack of fridge, no soundproofing of walls and windows (lots of noise), intrusive staff during the breakfast, the staff assigned your table at the breakfast, plastic flowers in a vase with water(!) on the tables in the breakfast area, juices at the breakfast were too diluted, bed sheets were never changed, uncomfortable beds, towels were extremely hard and scratchy

Pros: The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the old town and only 3 minutes walk from the Lido beach. The room is equipped with AC, which is good for summer.

Cons: Having seen all the negative reviews of the rooms on the third floor, I sent a message to the hotel before arriving, expressing my wish to be placed on the first or second floor and adding that I would like to pay extra if necessary. However, the request was refused and I was placed in room 304. So I can confirm that the rooms on the 3rd floor are very very basic. Riviera is advertised here as a 4-star hotel, but in reality it is not even up to 3-star in my opinion. In fact, in the elevator of the hotel itself, it is labelled as 3-star, which is confusing. The pictures of the pool are misleading as well. Actually it is not on the premise of the hotel. You need to walk for a few minutes to arrive there. Nobody in the hotel told me where was the pool upon arriving and I accidentally discovered it by myself on the last day. So I never got to use it. The room is pretty basic without many facilities. The bathroom is tiny, especially the shower/tub. Breakfast is OK, but the canteen is seriously understaffed. Although the staff are friendly, they simply cannot handle all the requests for coffee or omelette from the clients during the peak breakfast hours.

Pros: The hotel was absolutely perfect! Comfortable rooms, nice employees, delicious breakfast & cappuchino and super close to the beach. The first two floors of the hotel have been renovated but we stayed at the 3rd one which has'nt - the furniture was in an excellent condition and the beds comfortable.

Pros: Staff was very friendly and kind. We traveled with our 1,2 years old child and the hotel staff provided all the support we needed. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect - just 2 minutes form the seaside, very close to the parks and all the main restaurants. Supper nice place!
