Cons:Staff was extremely unprofessional and does not take accountability for their lack of thoroughness with their product. The van we rented was in severe need of a check-up - tail lights not working, oil change, alignment, electrical, etc.... when this brought to their attention they only made excuses and told us “well, you rented a van.” They didn’t care. Pros:I waited at the rental company for two hours and no one ever arrived to rent me a vehicle. I tried reaching them by phone and email, but still haven’t heard back from them.Cons:I needed a car, but ended up going to another company the following day.Reviewed Jun 6 2020

No cars available!Pros:Getting out of there!Cons:We drove 40 miles to this location because we couldn’t find a seven passenger vehicle available anywhere else. Upon arrival they informed us that they had no vehicles available, and weren’t sure when they would be available. We waited for about 20 minutes before leaving and going to try our luck at the airport, because we were on a time crunch. There were two other couples in the same situation as us. All three waiting for vehicles. The staff were unhelpful and seemed frantic; not the service i was hoping for after a 40 mile drive!Reviewed Mar 26 2018

Phone out of order!! :(Pros:Cancelled reservation — was a nightmareCons:The rental is offsite, not at the rental counter. You are suppose to call a number for them to send a van to pick you up, but the number was out of order. That wasn’t a good sign, so we cancelled the reservation.Reviewed Dec 8 2017

Poor Service Poor Value Pressure sale for extra insurancePros:Van was OKCons:It appears I was over charge from initial prepayment to Carrentals,com. I was also pressured to buy extra insurance. I will need to call AVR and have them explain final billing to me. Some of the line item charges look to be duplicate. I will not used these guys again.Reviewed Aug 28 2017
