The vehicle was indistinguishable from a similar rental anywhere else. The pickup process included phrasing that sounded like I was required to purchase additional insurance and the news that if I used a toll road there’s be a charge close to $30. The return was the real issue. No one was at the counter 2 hrs after they open. I just left the keys on the desk at the insistence of someone working at a desk for an unrelated company who kept saying “she’s definitely around here somewhere.” Called the shuttle driver to see how long it would be (since there’s only one) and he hung up on me when I tried to find out if “it’ll be a little bit” meant 10 minutes or 30.Reviewed Aug 20 2024

Too long to get picked up. Doing paperwork took too long and agent made thing very confusing. Didn’t get paper copies of bill. Then found out location closes at 4:00 pm. And no ride back to airport. Agent said get an Uber or walk across street to another company and get a ride. Will never use this AVR again!!!!!Reviewed Jul 18 2024

Flight was delayed and the place wasn’t even open. Reservation was for Thursday and they actually called on Saturday saying they are ready to pick us up. Comical.Reviewed May 13 2024

Car was great. Staff was very rude, ignored us at first. There’s an extra charge for airport shuttle which was then found to be unavailable. Will not rent from AVR again.Reviewed Apr 6 2024

The only positive experiences was front desk person Mary Anne and shuttle driver John. Other than the experience was unpleasant. Upon arrival to the airport we had to call the Van company for the shuttle which is not a problem but at no point did the email state that. The office must have multiple businesses in it because you walk in and a room full of people don’t acknowledge you because not their chair not their problem I guess. Once I figured out I needed to speak to Mary Anne she was quick and efficient specially giving she was the only person helping. The car I received seemed capable and the standard for traveling through the Colorado Rockies which I did mention. Later on after driving two hours I realize the SUV GMC Terrain is not capable of getting me up a portion of streets to get to my location. I had to get a tow. While dealing with Roadside Assistance and Customer support I was given the run around and wasted about 3 hours calling/talking and waiting for call backs while being transferred to people who couldn’t help. Eventually customer service told me they couldn’t help me due to there being “nothing mechanically wrong” with the car and “weather conditions” affecting a tow. After wasting my time with all this I decide to waste a day driving back to Denver to swap cars. Mary Anne was able to give us a more capable car with newer tires and got the job done for the rest of the trip. This company also doesn’t tell you that you need to use a third party parking shuttle service that is an additional expense for car drop off out side of their office hours. That clarity before hand would have been appreciated. Overall the experience was frustrating and wasted precious vacation time.Reviewed Feb 28 2024

Pickup was extremely slow. Location is very far from airport. Shuttle driver was efficient and polite, but this place is so far away that it just takes awhile to get there.Reviewed Feb 20 2024

It should be made VERY clear that this rental location is very far outside of the airport. Also, the pickup van does not just come for transportation, one must call them to be picked up, then wait another 20 minutes. Lastly, if you do not return your car by 3:45pm, you have to use another place to bring you back to the airport, which is an additional $35 fee. Everything about this place felt sketchy and low quality.Reviewed Nov 13 2023

I was not aware that the rental office closed at 4 PM my flight was delayed and I did not get to the pickup spot until nearly 4 so I was not able to get my car. Quite surprised at the early closure and that the rental confirmation was no clear on thatReviewed Oct 30 2023
