The vehicle was indistinguishable from a similar rental anywhere else. The pickup process included phrasing that sounded like I was required to purchase additional insurance and the news that if I used a toll road there’s be a charge close to $30. The return was the real issue. No one was at the counter 2 hrs after they open. I just left the keys on the desk at the insistence of someone working at a desk for an unrelated company who kept saying “she’s definitely around here somewhere.” Called the shuttle driver to see how long it would be (since there’s only one) and he hung up on me when I tried to find out if “it’ll be a little bit” meant 10 minutes or 30.

Too long to get picked up. Doing paperwork took too long and agent made thing very confusing. Didn’t get paper copies of bill. Then found out location closes at 4:00 pm. And no ride back to airport. Agent said get an Uber or walk across street to another company and get a ride. Will never use this AVR again!!!!!

The car itself was great. Drop-off was super easy, and price was good. Pick-up, however, was horrendous - waited in line for 50 minutes to get to the check-out counter. The line behind me never shortened, and the kind check-out clerk said it had been that way since 7am (I was talking with her at 3pm). The check-out process itself was also rather slow, 15 min or so. When I dropped off my car two days later the line for people picking up was the same. Not planning to use this company again.

We waited over an hour rent our car. The counter clerk refused to accept our proof of auto insurance. We were charged $30 a day for insurance we already had. We even had our insurance agent EMAIL A COPY OF PROOF and he still refused it! In Colorado, and all states, only licensed producers can review, advise or make recommendations any insurance. A COUNTER PERSON AT A RENTAL AGENCY IS NOT LICENSED IN, NOT SHOULD THEY ADVISE ON THE MERITS OF YOUR COVERAGE, OR ANY COVERAGE OFFERED. Their motivation is that they get paid bonus money when ever they sell insurance. Also, they talk to you in a cubicle so you can't hear what other clerks are telling their customers, who does this?!? We couldn't cancel as we had prepaid. Then we found out you can only drive their car in a handful of states. We called customer service to ask about what would happen if we drive the car to a state not on their list, she said... I'm not allowed to say! We were originally told they would charge $.20/mile, which we would have been willing to do as we we going to a funeral. DO NOT RENT FROM NU!!!

Address was incorrect for pick location. The address given from kayak email was wrong. It sent me to a Toyota car dealership. Enterprise was not anywhere near this address. But I barely made pick up time before closing after making calls and tracking down correct location.

We specifically rented a full sized passenger van to be picked up at the Denver airport sight. We called the day before to make sure they had the van (we have had previous bad experiences) & discovered the they did NOT have a full sized van for us. They had one at another location, but, since we had booked through you, they couldn’t give us the same price for it, it would be nearly double the cost. Also, since it was less than 24 hours before pick up, they wouldn’t drive it to the airport location for us. We canceled our reservation.

I booked on Kayak with details selected for Denver airport. However, the car that was booked was at a location 25 min from the airport so I had to cancel. This wasted a ton of time as I had to wait for another shuttle back to the airport so I could get on another shuttle to another rental company.

Booked the car through Kayak, the Enterprise location didn’t actually have a car available (the website shouldn’t allow me to book through them). The enterprise did try to call immediately after I booked and left a voicemail telling me they didn’t actually have vehicles for the next morning, but I didn’t receive the voicemail. I spent $40 on an Uber to their location, only to be told by their agent they they didn’t have cars, and that they did call to tell me that the night prior. When asked why they didn’t try calling again in the morning, to perhaps save me a trip, they basically had no response. The customer service at the location was non-existent, there was no attempt to rectify or apologize for the inconvenience, the woman “helping” me never made eye contact with me, and repeatedly just kept saying, “we did call and leave you a message.” It was clear they had no interest or concept of customer service, so I had them cancel the reservation, I then booked direct through National Car Rental at the airport for the next day and had a great experience. I won’t book through Kayak again, had this been a business trip it could have caused serious issues. When I reserve a vehicle I need to be able to trust that it’s an actual reservation.

I called to cancel my reservation and it wasn’t done. I couldn’t pick up my rental on the first day due to Hurricane Ian. My flight to Colorado from Florida was cancelled. I called to change the date on the reservation and I was told the rates are more expensive for only 2 days instead of the originally booked 3 days. I advised them to cancel my reservation and it was never done.

Hertz online hours are wrong, so we went to pick up our reserved car and they were closed. We went back the next morning (30 minutes early because their morning hours are wrong too) and they didn't have a car for us. I'm not sure why they let us reserve a car they didn't have but they basically told us tough luck and didn't try to accommodate us at all. Awful experience and horrible service all around.

I sat and waited for a car they couldn’t find for over an hour before they finally gave me a different model, it was damaged and then had to be switched to another car. As I was driving out I saw that they finally brought up the car I was supposed to have originally but I was done dealing with that by then.
