Pros: Lovely decor; comfortable bed and great shower. Delicious dinner and breakfast with high standard. of menu choices
Cons: The room was very hot at night so we had to have the window open to sleep and there was a lot of noise from the bar downstairs
10,0 Excellent
Pros: One of the cosiest, best-equipped and most comfortable hotel rooms I've ever stayed in anywhere in the world.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Best Breakfast in town -Excellently served
Cons: Nothing
7,9 Good
Pros: Staff well trained, efficient, helpful and attentive. Restaurant meal was superb. Room clean and neat on arrival.
Cons: Car park is very small - had to trust to luck to be able to park and managed it 30 minutes after arrival. I arrived at 7:30pm and bar customers had taken the remaining spaces - so not ideal. Sleigh bed in the room. I am 6'7" and Sleigh beds do not work well for tall people - fortunate I was staying alone.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was very central in the town of Abergavanny. We stayed here prior to continuing on our Mon & Brec Canal boat - Beacon Park Boats. It was a great stopping point only 15 minutes from BPB and allowed us to pick up wonderful supplies at the local Morrisons. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and we had a large, lovely comfortable room & beds. I would have liked to stay longer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice little touches like tea and home made cookies, flowers and many options for places to eat within the hotel made the stay even better.
Cons: Parking, was difficult, small lot on a hill, only enough room for maybe 10 small cars if that, and by the time we arrived 2:30pm there was no parking left for the hotel, we had to park in the public lot - of course it is Wales, (UK) all parking is limited everywhere, so no real worries. I found the cost of breakfast slightly pricey, the food was delicious but not out of the ordinary for UK - in this case we were paying for ambience and excellent service, not so much for the food. I think all rooms should come automatically with breakfast as the rooms are beautiful but you pay for them.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The beds are dreamy and the food served is outstanding. Everyone was so nice, helpful, and welcoming
Cons: I would have liked twin beds but the room was lovely. Great bathroom

Pros: Clean room above the pub with parking right outside. Room itself was nothing special, but at the same time offered everything you need. The bed was very comfy, it was great value for what you pay and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was good as well. Also, it's a great starting point for a walk to Sugar Loaf Hilltop, which is a nice walk with great views.
Cons: The shower in our room was somewhat basic and the wifi dropped off after you stop using phone/laptop for a few minutes, which meant re-logging on frequently. But we weren't there for the wifi.

Pros: We can't thank Brynhonddu Country House enough for our perfect long weekend. We were greeted by Husband and Wife team who instantly made us feel at home and welcome. The House is a beautiful period property set in the breath taking landscape of the Black mountains. We enjoyed greatly each morning an artisan full english breakfast in the impressive dinning room setting while chatting with the owners using their wealth of knowledge about the hiking trails and surrounding mountains. Have recommended to friends and family 10/10 Warm regards. Simon, Heidi & Tequila.

Pros: On a very cold and snowy night we were warmly welcomed and immediately checked in.
