Hotel Aurora Terme

Staff was very very nice from the concierge to the restaurant staff to the cleaning staff. Everyone made an effort to be nice and cheerful. Great location right in the central no car area. Indoor and outdoor pool were nice. Water was an excellent temperature. Our room was clean and I loved the hard wood floors. It is an old hotel but it has it’s charm. The candle light dinner was a nice touch.

Parking was caotic ( but it was also one of the busiest weekends of the year). Breakfast was abundant but poor quality. The hours for the spa were not clearly written (they may have told us at check-in but it is impossible to remember since they give you times for breakfast,lunch,dinner and the pools besides other information). Since the pool times are written on the wall it wouldn’t take much to add when the Sauna and Turkish bath are turned on, and it definitely wouldn’t hurt to write rules and regulations for them too (a lot of the clientele are not regular spa goers so they are very loud in the spa area and sauna and don’t use towels to sit on and so forth). I think it is ridiculous to have a disco evening but on all the tables it says you have to make a bar purchase...if you don’t want anyone to participate that is how it works. Dinner food was ok. We didn’t spend much so for the price I think all and all it was good.
