Hotel itself is a masterpiece with lots of art pieces all around. Location is very unique and very high standard in room service. Internet connection is just outstanding, staff is amazing and very accommodating
They didn’t have modern humidification devices Which is unheard of and I never encountered in a five star hotel. Pillows were very uncomfortable and very low grade, They had two small mattresses on the bed instead of one big one and if you consider spending at least €700 per night I am not sure that it is acceptable.
This hotel was absolutely gorgeous! I took full advantage of the shuttle down into Zurich town centre and also spent a lot of time in the spa and wellness facilities. The food was awesome and the wine list was varied. This is the perfect place for quality R&R. The staff were also very friendly, warm and welcoming.
There was nothing that I didn't like. Genuinely faultless experience.
Stupid employees at reception
Fairytale castle-like hotel, blended with ultra modern new facilities. It has it's own funicular train system that takes you down the small mountain to into the perimeter of Zurich town, where you cross the road to catch any number of trams that come every 5 minutes to take you anywhere across the town. Zurich itself is a lovely old town, with strong green credentials (very little traffic, and everywhere serviced by trams - no need to hire a car !), sourround by lakes and mountains. Can't wait to go back for a longer visit.
As you would expect for Switzerland...... it's expensive !
Pretty much everything - the five star restraint I found to be a little over the top and left feeling hungry
The parking - payment for parking I considered an oversight on behalf of the Dolder - guests expect to park their cars for free at a facility like this !!!! Trying to charge me for breakfast when it was already pre paid !!!!!
