Location was great - right in the centre of Stone Town and next to the beach. Breakfast was good with a wonderful view over the town and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful - they assisted in tracking down my lost suitcase which was very much appreciated! The 24 hour reception was useful as I arrived during the early hours of the morning. The building is decorated beautifully so you really feel like you have stepped back in time.
Room was quite small (although perfectly formed!)

Great location to visit Stone Town and Prison Island. Close to the local beach where you can find some restaurants and places to have a drink with ocean view :) Nice terrace on the top of the building to have breakfast. Really nice, helpful and kind staff . Beautiful colonial style decoration in the building.
Very poor wifi inside the room.

Nothing to like sorry
Room not cleaned every day. When we ask why housekeeping not coming they said we have only key of the room we can not enter the room. Few time they changed towel but all towel was very old even color changed from white to dark grey and full over with stain. Only I can about positive location of the hotel rather then this no need to give money for this stupid hotel. Basically this was my thirth time going to Zanzibar and this was the worst hotel where I stay ever.
