Refused to give me the room I booked, downgrded me without authorization or even offering to refund the difference. I called the booking site, left my key in the empty room and left. Hotel still refuses to refund anything.

Pros (+) Rooms were clean and we had enough room for all the suitcases. Beds were comfortable. Nice breakfast. Very pet friendly. We arrived quite late after driving in from Colorado and staff was very courteous.

Pros (+) breakfast was good
Cons (-) Had a non-smoking room but it was just across the hall from the smoking rooms. The hallway and my room smelled awful. And whatever they spray in the rooms to cover the smell isn't any better. Last time I stayed at a New Victorian was about 4 years ago and had a similar experience.
