The food was absolutely amazing.
Lovely clean room. Extremely comfortable bed. Nice little extras of luxury toiletries. Friendly and helpful staff. Ideally located in the heart of the village.
Breakfast was continental style which was nice but would have preferred full English.
A nice generous continental style breakfast, although the choice of a hot breakfast or full English was not available and would have been appreciated on a cold morning! Staff were lovely though, the room simple, tastefully decorated and clean. Location absolutely fantastic.
Hot breakfast! Would have liked this as a choice. Pillows on the bed were uncomfortable, but I understand this might be a personal choice thing. Also the shower cubicle in the bathroom was tiny and hard to manoeuvre in, but I guess the age and size limitations of such an old building should be taken into account.
Fantastic location, friendly staff and superb evening meal.
The option of a cooked breakfast would have been nice.
The MOST amazing restaurant, evening meals were perfection! Fabulous location and in a wonderful old style building
I was just disturbed at night by fan or pump noises from the kitchen area below our room, number 1. As a sound engineer I was always aware of them switching on and off, but surprisingly my wife not at all bothered!
