When visiting Washington, DC the problem for many travelers to solve is how to be in the middle of everything. The good news is that it’s easy to find a place to stay that’s near the convention center along with all the important sights like the National Mall, the Capitol, White House, and all the Smithsonian museums. If you stay at the Cambria Hotel DC Convention Center, you’re guaranteed to be in the heart of the city with everything to see just a short walk or Metro ride away.

One of the best parts about the Cambria Hotel DC Convention Center is how the hotel strikes a different tone the moment you walk up to it. The architecture and décor are decisively modern, but not in an overwhelming way. In the rooms, there are lots of colors and great comfort. The amenities like complimentary WiFi make everything easy on the traveler.

While there is an on-site bistro and bar, the reality is the location makes fine dining a short walk away. Whether you love traditional American cuisine or something a bit more off the beaten path, a short walk takes you to many excellent restaurants. Having so many options within walking distance is perfect for many travelers who enjoy getting to taste some of the local flavors. Remember there’s no parking lot at this hotel! I was not informed and it cost $63 for one night valet parking! Plus they asked for $100 deposit! There’s hidden fees using traveloro app! Watch out!

An absolute disaster of a property. Dirty, poorly managed, facilities and amenities closed or non existent. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

Pros (+) Clean. Nice. Comfy beds. Spacious rooms. Great location. Friendly and helpful staff
Cons (-) Parking!!!!! Add $30 a day to your room rate. That should have been noted when booking! Breakfast was implied through advertising but was not included. Pool is small, fine for business travelers but not really for kids.

Pros (+) I was expecting a newer and in better condition hotel. It clearly gets a lot of use as the furniature was scuffed up and he walks dirty. Also the breakfast closes at 10:30 and is really expensive. Good thing there's a Starbucks downstairs.
Cons (-) The condition of the hotel
