We had no time to spend in the hotel but I have an impression of very, very polite staff.
My very first impression was that we are in the wrong place and should leave. The reason was the receptionist whose attitude was somehow discriminative. The look he gave us was not alright at all but we were too tired, and also we felt offended. He then put us in a wrong room for non smokers, with a single bed (we wanted separate beds, smokers) and with all our luggage we had to go down again and swallow our pride to accept the attitude of this male receptionist. With five words - I felt guilty I am not gay (!!!!!)
