The hotel is is very accessible from the central station and/or the bus terminal. The whole staff was very very friendly and helpful regarding all matters and questions. The interior of the public areas and of the rooms is very nicely and functional. We felt to be in best hands from the very beginning.
All great. Helpful with everything. Classy, great breakfast. So close to rail, come out of station & turn left for about 400m & then it will be another left. Better still spend a few euro & a baggage handler will take you right to the door.
The number one reason for us choosing to stay here has been the location to the train station. Travelling with a little kid you always want to ensure that you can get to your hotel after a long flight or train ride. This is about a 25-30 minute walk to San Marco and Rialto. It really gives you the opportunity to explore the narrow city streets at your own pace. The hotel provides a free phone for you to use during your stay that has free international and national calls. The staff were great. The breakfast had a lot of variety. If you don't want to dine out then you have the opportunity to dine in at the hotel. The prices are reasonable. The room was comfortable. If I am to ever return to Venice one day, I'd probably stay here again. It's great if you're travelling with kids.
The hotel was in a great location as we were coming from the train. It was a nice little sanctuary way from the hustle and bustle of Venice. Very quiet at night. The room was fine for our family of four as we were only there for the one night. The staff were helpful and booked a water taxi for us and stored our luggage. The breakfast was good and facilities were lovely. It was only a quick stay but would recommend to others.
More expensive than other places we've stayed but saying that it was worth the cost. The hotel was immaculately presented, easy to find and the staff were friendly and helpful. They provided a phone with maps that we could use free of charge. We didn't really need this as we hand our own but it was a great service.
The location is just a 2minute walk from the station. The front desk is accommodating especially Enrica.
The bathroom was so tiny that you could barely move. It lacks hooks where you can hang clothes. And the water seem to be seeping out of the shower so by the time you get out, you have to be careful as you might slip. Toiletries were also not replenished on a daily basis.
Venice Times Hotel is centrally located in Venice, a 3-minute walk from Scalzi Bridge and 6 minutes by foot from Guglie Bridge. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff.
