The location is great — a short walk from the Vaporetto stop and near to the beach. The staff were very courteous and helpful, and the bedroom was clean, with a comfortable bed, a safe in the wardrobe, and plenty of storage. The en-suite bathroom had a toilet, sink and bidet, and the shower was in a decent sized enclosure with good water pressure and properly hot water (except when everyone in the hotel was showering). Breakfast was a cold self-service buffet, and fine on the whole — cereal, bread, cheese, meat, pastries, fruit, jam , etc— but with some oddities, like the tiny bowls for the cereal, or the orange juice being red. The coffee was strong, and good if fresh, but did not stand well. Eggs were of the cook-it-yourself variety, and I'd recommend 11 minutes in the boiler if you like them hard-boiled (although you won't be able to hold them to peel them!)
The towels in the bathroom were odd — rather like small tablecloths — but were adequate for getting the water off after a shower. If you like your towels fluffy, you might like to bring your own. The toilet roll holder had obviously had a catastrophic screw failure, and hung down vertically rather than horizontally. It was still firmly attached to the wall, and not dangerous, but a bit useless. As there was a bidet, I simply used that instead.
Bathroom. It smells bad an no enoght space for closet.
Perfect location, very fiendly staff, quite surrounding.
Room is very small
Location and breakfast were great.
A/C did not work properly. Way too hot in the room. Towels were like napkins and felt terrible. Pillows were very thin and hard. Towel warming rack was missing a cover over the screw which meant every time we used the toilet we had to sit on it sideways to avoid scraping our arms.
Very easy to find, just a couple of blocks from the Vaporetto station for Lido. Hotel staff were very nice, room was comfortable and water was always hot for shower. Very close to the shopping area with lots of choices for cafe/bars . We would definitely stay here again!
