Very good location near to the city center, still very chilled out and quiet due to the terrace going into direction of monkey forrest. Great view from the balcony, great garden and plants, the room and bathroom real comfy. Really good place to stay.
The internet is working once in a time
Clean and comfy toom wiith great breakfast and nice pool! Monkeys come to visit too!
No fridge in my room
The 'holy moley I wasn't expecting that moment' from the moment we checked in and walked down the stairs behind office area. From the street this place looks very ordinary and even gives you impression that you quite possibly made a huge mistake in your choice of places to stay but the moment you walk down stairs and see what lays before you, you realise what a mistake you made in even thinking that.. Such a beautifully green amazing sight.. it's the last thing you epect to see. It's a tropical forrest full of monkies and squirrels and we'd very happily stay there again. Excellent location as well. Walking distance to everything you could ever hope to find in the centre of Ubud.
The stairs... Soooooo many stairs.. lol Our room was at the far end of property (which has been built on the side of a hill so we had far more stairs to climb than someone staying on the ground floor or towards the front of property but on the flipside of coin, my thighs got a much needed workout from climbing up and down them so many times I was literally going weak at the knees by day 4... totally worth it though. The view from our balcony was amazing! We were eye level with lots of coconuts hanging in all the palm trees and I never got tired of watching so many squirrels running and playing so high up in the trees you'd never get to see them from the ground looking up. So even though the stairs got very tiresome towards the end, the advantages of having to climb them far outweighed the disadvantage of having sore legs.
Great location, lovely pool and spacious room with lovely balcony with table and chairs. We stayed in an upstairs family room and it was much larger than the 16m2 size stated on booking.com. There is a laundry service and authorised money change right out front of hotel. It was a pleasant walk to Ubud Market. We spent most days in between the pool and the hotel warung out front. Good food, and half the price of regular places to eat. I was happy to not see any monkeys on our balcony or at the hotel during our stay - plenty down the road at Monkey Forest though. I was expecting to see some from reading other reviews.
Good breakfast. Great location. Our room was spacious, nice & quiet and very clean. Excellent value. Nice pool.
The front desk staff were not very helpful in arranging any activities - we made our own arrangements. Restaurant staff were very friendly & the food was good & cheap. Other staff (cleaners etc) were friendly & did a great job. The beds could probably do with new mattresses - both of ours felt a bit tired. Apart from that the room was great.
