Pros:This is a beautiful secluded location: lush tropical gardens surrounded by rice paddies. The shuttle bus runs guests into Ubud centre regularly throughout the day and into the evening. There is a small but pleasant and peaceful swimming pool. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. I tried a spa treatment (Balinese massage) and it was very good. There are a wide variety of breakfast options. I enjoyed Balinese and Indonesian style breakfasts, but plenty of international options. If you are after a central location this isn't for you, but I preferred somewhere with less crowds and more peaceful escape so it was perfect for me.
Cons:The shuttle buses depart from the hotel on time, but can be unpredictable at other stops due to traffic. Use the timetable as a suggested guide only and expect to wait a bit throughout the day. It is more comfortable to wait at Kajane Mua on the return as you can sit comfortably in the restaurant there until the bus arrives, instead of waiting on the street. Kajane Mua also has its own timetable and most of it's buses can also drop off at Yangloni. When departing Mua, better to catch a Mua shuttle bus, since departure will be more punctual: the arriving Yangloni bus may be caught in heavy traffic. We also found that if you are in a restaurant along the route of the shuttle bus, it is better to have the restaurant call the hotel to let them know you will join the shuttle bus and get an updated expected time of arrival. They don't mind making an extra stop if it is on the same route.
