Loved everything about this hotel a little bit older with stone carvings everywhere , the setting and the view is quite magical. Our room was very spacious and super comfortable, the staff so nice and accommodating. From beginning to end a great experience.
I liked the staff and their willingness and friendliness to help and that it was located close to the shopping street.
The rooms were in a really bad need of renovation especially the bathrooms. Old, dirty, and tired shower curtains, outdated and old bathroom amenities, army of dead ants inside the fridge, dead flies etc. in the pool which was pitifully small. My bedside table lamp had cobwebs hanging from it. Pretty bad coffee for breakfast, one almost had to order cappuccino or latte on the side as the regular coffee was just weak. All in all, quiet a dissappointment from the pictures online.
Amazing staff, brilliant food! Really beautiful traditional style Balinese hotel. The pool ares is an oasis.
Rooms were a little tired, bathroom within the room in particular in need of renovation.
Charming and beautiful grounds
Little bit steep at times
The timeless beauty of Hotel Tjampuhan & Spa has been legendary since 1928, when as a royal guesthouse it inspired foreign artists and provided a tranquil environment for visiting celebrities. Combining a collection of traditional style bungalows and a healing spa facility, the entire property is a tribute to Ubuds artistic heritage and the spirit of Balinese hospitality.
