Dinner in the Restaurant was excellent. Mixed starter for 2 was huge and well worth the €20. could have done with a longer break before the main course arrived.Location perfect for sightseeing.

The hotel was in a great location and the center courtyard was lovely.
The service was non existent. We had to haul our luggage across a cobbled courtyard then up some steep steps to enter the hotel. We asked for assistance and were told that they did not have the staff. Their were few people to serve drinks in the patio. If was easier to go downstairs to the bar and bring it back up yourself. The most egregious problem was with the room. The room did not have a window. Only a door to a inner courtyard that everyone going to their rooms could look into our room from. So we wanted to turn on our air conditioner. It did not do anything but make a sound... no air blew out of it. When we mentioned it when we checked out... the staff said they knew about this. We did not sleep in the hot room.

We were very impressed with the building and its location to the historical areas of the town. The rooms were large and comfortable but still retained the old world feel.

The Parador is an old manor home which has been renovated beautifully, but still retains the old charm. It is well located in the old section of Ubeda and has an excellent dining room. The rooms are large with roomy baths.

We loved the courtyard of the palace most of all. Extremely beautiful. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable and pleasant. THe bathroom was exceptional and all the amenties were availabel in the bathroom.
The parking was very difficult and we had to park th car a very far distance from the hotel. There is no on-site parking.
