It is quirky and fun. Faisil was an excellent front man, within the constraints placed upon him. We enjoyed our cave room and the ever changing fellow guests from all over the world. Location perfect, quiet & what a wonderful walk up the hill behind the hotel!!
Breakfast was meagre and same every day, but you get what you pay for. 6 wall hooks were a bit on the minimum for clothes storage but what the heck!
Attentive owner with a hands on attitude, gave advice but not pushy. Attentive staff but respected your space. Comfortable but not pretentious. The mix of nationalities and ages that passed through was very diverse. In the time we were there, Chinese,Japanese, Argentinian, Spanish, Saudi,German and Italian. In the old part of Urgup and village life was going on around it, for eg. presevation of summers harvest for the winter month. Decent Turkish breakfast. 10 minutes walk dowhill to town.
Omar the owner is a wonderful host
