Location of the hotel was excellent, just right on the lake. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and breakfast tasty! There was, for me, everything excellent at this hotel :)

Great view over the lake.
You can’t drive close to the hotel and so need to carry your baggage. Also parking is not close. Room was ok but bathroom very, very small.

Loved the location very central to my needs and such a vibrant feeling all around Local people so lovely. Fiona the manager/ receptionist was especially kind to me she has a wonderful manner to her customers. My view from the room was so lovely I felt quite at home there.
I was surprised not to have tea/coffee facility in my room for late at night/early morn drink. This would have made me much more at home in my room. The other sadness was that the evening food area served outside was not part of the hotel facility therefore not able to be charged to my room and paid for at the end of the week .Although the food was good the service was not, in fact one waiter was exceptionally rude to me and my sister made us feel a real nuisance! I would like to think that in the future it becomes a part of the hotel again with their own staff who were super.We did tell Fiona of our dismay and feel sure she will inform the necessary people.
