Cons:

Directions to drop off were problematic The car had many damages. After returning, the agent told me there are some new damages that are my responsibility. This is a lie. I did not hit anything, nor did anyone hit my car. They now want to extract money from my credit card. A pure scam!

Cons:

I booked a large Opel Vivaro or similar. At the Sixt desk I was offered a Ford S-Max. A nice car but not equivalent or similar and had to pay extra for 9 seat van to fit my family & luggage in. I will be calling to challenge.

Be very careful about your terms. I had purposely planned my trip around exploring Norway around Kristiansand to Trondheim, my main reason for renting a car. I found reading the conditions after rental that I was limited to 100km. It was around an hour after checking out the car. I immediately called & offered to pay for the upgrade or options as I had missed this during check out, but no avail. I would have to junk my vacation plans. Even going to nearby Trondheim left me with overage charges equally what the fee at the counter would have been for unlimited miles. What an absolute scam with no way out.

The vehicle was dropped off with no damage, but SixT claimed that there was damage. They did not perform an inspection at the time the vehicle was returned.
