Big, comfortable room Clean friendly owner
Very nice Ryokan in the heart of Tokyo's Asakusa neighborhood. Polite and friendly owner; ready to help you whenever you need. Overall positive feedback!
Helpful friendly owner, and Asakusa is a great place to be based. This is a charming old house but with thin walls so if you want to be out on the town and come crashing in at 3am, this probably isn’t the place for you. There is enough to do in Asakusa to keep you busy for a week so the location is excellent. No this is not luxury accomodation but it is great value for money considering what you can pay in Tokyo. If you don’t mind shared showers etc, it’s fine.
Beds can be a bit hard but this is standard for Japan as far as we could tell.
The bedroom was clean and the bed confortable. It's a typical ryokan and it's pretty good in term of quality/price. We felt at home and we enjoyed our stay overall even during the scary typhoon. I forgot a personal belonging and Satoshi made sure to send me back it which is really nice.
