Great location. Friendly and helpful staff.
The water didn't drain in the shower.
so close to Asakusa!
Nothing. All was good.
The hotel is just a couple of minutes walk away from Senso-Ji Temple and 15 min from Tokyo National Museum. It’s very close to Ginza Line, Asakusa Line metro stations. The beds are extremely confortable, the staff is kind. When i booked the hotel, the booking point was 8.7 and i really don’t understand how come it’s less than 9...
Altough Asakusa is a really cute neighborhood with a local feeling and lots of izakayas (bistrots) around, it takes around 40 min by metro to the famous Shinjuku neighborhood.
So location was perfect. Near everything, bars, restaurants, sight seeing. I think Asakusa is better than Shinjuku or Shibuya for a hotel because it's a bit more remote and quieter. Yet you have plenty of places to go. Hotel was fine. You can't miss it. Breakfast is buffet japenese style. It's good for a few days after you may want to hit other places around. I dont recommend buying breakfast on booking.com. Buy it day per day on site, so if you want to mix it up. For solo or 2 travellers its perfect. Beds are confortable. On the hard side. But that's how I like it.
there was an odd smoke smell in the bathroom. It wouldnt go away. At first I thought previous traveller had smoked in the bathroom. It ended up being there every morning. Something to do with ventilation probably. It wasnt a big deal since it was just in bathroom. Rooms are small but this is Tokyo.
Very helpful and nice staff, location only 3mins walk to Tenjo temple and 2 mins to Donkey shop
