Shower and heating were both excellent.
Rooms were shockingly small. Better value is a capsule hotel for two people. The pictures, while technically accurate, make it seem like the rooms are larger than they are which seems intentionally misleading. When we asked for a larger room, they told us they didn't have any and did not offer any form of compensation. They did, however, agree to refund our stay. Also, pillows were very thin.
We stayed for 1 night and were pleased with our room, amenities and staff were very helpful and kind.
The location was great and facilities were clean.
Breakfast was a little limiting and the rooms are very small. We enjoyed our stay as we spent most of our time outside of the rooms but it's something to be conscious of.
Thanks for having us!
Location Was very clean Friendly staff
Wifi was slow Breakfast provided was not worth it, little selection and not fresh
Very comfortable stay close to Shinjuku
Everything seemed very clean and new and I wonder if this is part of the wave of hotels going in as part of the build-up to the olympics. I had a compact, efficient, comfortable room with all the amenities I could want, a short walk from Shinjuku and several subway stations. The staff were very attentive and responsive. I was on the 11th floor with a good view of the Shinjuku skyline.
The walk through Kabukicho was a bit of a hassle at night, though nothing to worry about much -- just ignore hawkers and/or say "no" consistently and firmly. There are many, many normal people milling around as well, so it's just a matter of sticking to your guns. Being in conversation with a friend helped a lot too.
