Cons (-) Is this survey a joke? We were told we had a room by a staff member only to have another person call us back as were driving there and tell us we couldn’t have the room. What kind of customer service is this? We found a better place to stay in the end, and I’ll not plan on frequenting Best Western if there are other options in the future

Pros (+) Location is superb. Right on Mackenzie beach and a short 3-5 minute drive into town. You can walk along the beach to a neighbouring property and visit Lil' Ronnie's Beachside BBQ, and I highly recommend it for the brisket. Staff were very friendly. Cons (-) Being dog friendly is nice, but keep in mind it's a humid location that gets quite cool at night which means it will smell like a dog friendly room. It's not overwhelming and if you're traveling with your dogs you're probably used to it already. Pros (+) The hotel is right on the beach and the views from most rooms are amazing. The staff are very friendly. The lobby and restaurant are clean and updated Our dogs were greeted with a dish, blanket and milkbone
Cons (-) The noise from the people above us was too much! We had our 1 yr old with us and she kept being woken up from the noise. We phoned the front desk a few times and never heard anything back from them and the noise never stopped. We had a dog friendly room and it wasn’t super clean. The bedskirts were pretty dirty and there were little piles of dirt in the corners in the bathroom.

Pros (+) The gorgeous view of the beach was a perfect way to start and end the day. Fabulous location, close to town and quiet enough at night to sleep with the window open and listen to the sea.
