"Dinasty" is a solid and traditional style hotel with a good touch of luxury. Spacious rooms with wooden furniture and big terraces are full of light and fresh air. While walking in the city we compared "Dinasty" with other 4 and 5 star hotels and understood that we were lucky to have chosen "Dinasty". The hotel is exellent and luxurious and the hotel restaurant is incomparable and magnificient! The chef of the restaurant, who is similtaneously the owner of the hotel supervises everything including the cooking of splendid, fantastically tasty dishes! The cousine of the hotel restaurant can be recommended for recovering digestion!) Jimmy - the chef and the chief speaks English, Russian, Serbian (we asked him to speak with a lady in Belgrade, as she didn't speak English. Belgrade was our next destination. Jimmy helped us greatly!).Actually he speaks many languages that allows him to speak to the guests from different countries in their own languages. We are very grateful to Jimmy and all the stuff of the hotel for their exceptional attitude to the guests! We are looking forward to staying in " Dinasty" for much more time than those two days spent in the hotel in July

The staff was amazing and welcoming and they knew all their guests and could make personal conversation and recommendations where appropriate and relevant. The family suite was a great size where we had a door to close between the beds (!) and clean. The breakfast was amazing, made to order and some buffet, where cold things were brought fresh from the fridge when you entered the breakfast room. The owners were always present and the atmosphere was just great!
The rooms could do with slightly less furniture which would make them feel more spacious.

We have stayed in hotels with more facilities...pools, gyms, saunas.... but it was the staff that made our stay most memorable. The Dinasty hotel is a tad quirky, in a positive sense and the owner, aka Jimmy, is a character. He loves chatting, cooking, wine and is passionate about all aspects of owning and managing a hotel. Knowledgeable in all things Tirana and Albania. We ate at the hotel twice, during our stay of 7 nights, we normally never eat dinner at our hotel. My wife thought her steak the best she had ever eaten and my request for a sandwich late on our evening of arrival morphed into a salad, followed by mussels and a sizeable monkfish to finish. The waiter was kindly rebuked by the 'Chief' for presenting the fish with its fearsome looking teeth facing my wife. ''The head must always face the man'', not sure what would happen if the party is all female? Speaking one day about 'the best' traditional Albanian food, Jimmy immediately recommended a restaurant called Emblema. 8 miles south of Tirana and 8 light years different. You've just got to visit, he even offered to have his son drive us, but we took a taxi, c 1350 Leke,each way.
Can't really think of anything. We could have done with more hangers, though we didn't ask for more.
