Pros:There was a sign informing us that the agent was not available at that time. An 800 number was given but no one answered and the mailbox was full. Paperwork and keys were placed in a Dropbox on the counter but no directions were available.Reviewed Jul 20 2020

Great start to finishPros:The manager for "pickup" was EXCELLENT!!! British guy. He stayed late, since our flight was delayed multiple times. Terrific dude. Car was clean, filled up, and ready to go. Drop off was easy. All in, great deal.Cons:The car was kinda laggy, even as a fairly new vehicle (18k miles). It was fine for the money, but Sentras sure have gone down in quality from how I remember them.Reviewed Aug 16 2018

Thrifty is a shell here... GARBAGE COMPANYPros:Got to chattanooga to return the car after a week long rental starting in Memphis. when I got to the return area, the worker with thrifty clothing said We cannot return this car, its a Hertz car. Turns out that if you get a rental from thrifty somewhere other than the Chat airport you have to return it to hertz. Thrifty added a bunch of fees meaning in the end it would have been cheaper to just rent from Hertz.Cons:Everything, do not rent from Thrifty.Reviewed Nov 5 2018

Night time nightmareCons:I had scheduled a smaller vehicle so that gas mileage would be good. When I got to the rental office desk, I was told that they didn't have any of the smaller vehicles so I would be getting a larger vehicle. I was then asked where I was going and when I said Maryland and Pennsylvania I was told that those states might be (I'm not sure of the exact terminology) extended mileage states. Upon checking, I was told that I would have to pay $20 a day for my 7 day rental. When I pointed out that I read that I would have unlimited mileage I was told that there was "small print" that mentioned about the extended mileage states. (This is not "unlimited mileage" and I believe it to be deceptive advertising) I was finally offered a "truck" for $10 extra per day which I declined due to gas mileage issues. I asked for my cards back, called for my ride to return and waited 30 minutes in the night air to be picked up. I scheduled a rental with another company when I got home and left the next morning without a hitch. I did tell the worker at Thrifty that I felt they would lose a lot of business with this deceptive advertising and I stand by that. I know they lost my business that night.Reviewed May 4 2017
