Hearing the river Luppbode when opening the window was nice. Reception staff was very kind. Possibility of late arrival by using a key safe with pin code was offered. The property and the room were neat and clean.
This is not a hotel but rather a restaurant with rooms to book. Availability of tea and coffee was announced 24/7 but access was closed about 22h. This was simply a lie. No hotel lobby either. The room was a little bit too modest for the hotel-like price. The room was chilly at arrival and the heating was not working properly. Maybe already switched off. Lights at the hallway were not working. Wi-Fi was not working properly and disconnected regularly. Restaurant's terrace was right under the window and you could hear each word of the guests.

Booked with 24hrs notice so didn’t expect much but we’re so pleased. The staff was great and the property and surrounding area very charming. Dolf was a life saver. I think we were lucky to have checked in with the only person in town that speaks English and he went out of his way to help us finalize plans for attending the walpurgisnacht festival. Thank you!

Basic no frills room but adequate for a night stay. Relatively clean. Breakfast is good with ample selection.
There is no kettle in room to make tea or coffee. There is also no bath soap or shampoo provided. The hotel gives a ommercial vibe as opposed to genuine warmth.
