The reception staff were sullen and disinterested. It was an effort for them to get off their mobile phones to answer questions. Breakfast was a shambles. This hotel caters for tour groups. It was common to join a queue of 15/20 people just to get a cup of tea. Finding a table was difficult as the breakfast room was always crowded.
The breakfast was fantastic and catered for all nationalities. Very impressed. The pool was lovely and the area on the roof gave a great view of the area. The beach is a five minute walk and plenty of restaurants are within walking distance although they are very expensive. The staff were really friendly and accommodating.
It was what it was. The area was pretty good although would have liked to be a little closer to the old town, but to be fair it was pretty good. If this is all I have to moan about then it cant be that bad. The only thing I would say and its not really a dislike; I did find the hotel a little tired in parts even though its had its recent upgrade. Don't let that put you off though.
The room was clean
Breakfast was limited and not fresh looking
Breakfast was great and very varied/ The dining room staff held it together despite having a LOT of guests to deal with' who were almost all Israeli, too... not easy' but they did well. Also, there is a roof pool - small, and way too packed when the hotel is full' but a total bonus if you go before noon. Just outside the hotel there is a scooter bike rental station. We had so much fun riding along the beach.
The room smelled weird - musty - maybe a problem with the drain or air conditioning... Also' the elevators did NOT handle the fully booked weekend. We chose the stairs quite a lot but we were 'only' on the 6th floor. People on the 11th floor didn't really have that option. The pool was great but small' and sadly closed at 7pm so no sunset dip :(
The staff was polite ,great breakfast!!!
