Pros: Everything was perfect.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Nice and quite, perfect romantic atmosphere.
Cons: Our room was very close to the village and we could hear the roosters at 4 AM :(
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful resort. The landscaping was stunning and the infinity pool was wonderful. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and the waiting staff were just great. Thank you for a lovely stay! We would definitely recommend to stay here.
Cons: Some of the towels are a bit old and grey in colour so may need changing. The food in the restaurant was great, although you would expect homemade pizza bases in such a luxury resort.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location is really nice, surrounded by exotic trees and plants and except for a nearby road where scooters pass is overall quiet. The staff is super nice and attentive to your needs, in fact I would give the staff a 10 out of 10 score. If you are staying here I definitely recommend trying the spa, the massage I had in there was the best I ever had so I think it's money well spent. There is a free shuttle offered by the resort for going to Ubud.
Cons: There will be lizards and geckos present on the property but I can't complain about that, I've never had them in the room, I just saw them on the outside.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect away the hustle and bustle and the town centre. The staff is extremely wonderfully couldn't do enough for you. The place is so tranquil you don't want to leave. The infinity Pool is so divine.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like and its not the fault of the hotel. Our room was 602 and its built above water, so the room has rising damp which we didn't like the smell.
2,9 Mediocre
Pros: The infinity pool was nice and the gardens surrounding of the resort were beautiful and well maintained.
Cons: We have been very disappointed by this hotel. We have booked 3 accommodations in Ubud and this was by far the worst one. The resort is surrounded by local houses and workshops, the area looks bad and a bit dangerous. 1. The most annoying thing was the crying of a puppy that was very distressing and heartbreaking. Several guests were asking what's wrong with him and we have been informed that it was closed in a small cage and wanted to get out and that was the reason. His crying started early morning waking us from sleep and kept on most of the day. This is a place where one comes to relax and this is by no means the ideal scenario. 2. The shampoo and hand wash in the bathroom had the worst smell, like sulphurous. I don't know if it was something wrong or if this is supposed to be the invigorating scent one would wish to have after getting cleaned. The bottles were also old and dirty. 3. The cork of the bathtub wasn't working so couldn't get a bath. 4. The curtains surrounding the baldachin bed were dirty and disgusting. 5. The towels were ripped, damp and had a strange smell. 6. Not enough sun beds at the pool, being a resort with 20 rooms, it offered only 8 sun beds and had to wait for others to leave in order to enjoy the pool. 7. WiFi was really slow to the point of being useless in the evening when more people were using it. 8. The door from the balcony wasn't closing tight, so mosquitos could enter the room. 9. The prices from the restaurant were double than from the previous resort we stayed at, even if both were in the same 4star category. The food wasn't very good, but decent. It's full of lizards in the restaurant, but this is not their fault. We were accommodated in room 603.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Place is amazing! They have daily shuttles right to Ubud. Food in the restaurant is amazing! Pool and view is gorgeous. Staff is awesome. It was great not being in the hustle bustle of Ubud but still being able to access it quickly from the hotel. A bunch of our friends suggested placed directly in town but I am so stoked we chose here instead.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Truly magical place in the middle of Bali ! The location is perfect if you are looking for peace and relax ! Meanwhile, the hotel offers a free shuttle to Ubud, so you can mix the relax with madness in Ubud. Nice, clean and cozy place and setting. The staff is amazing. All the people in Puri Gangga resort made us feel like home. They are very friendly and kind and took care of all our needs. The food is delicious, the pool and the restaurant have amazing views over the jungle. Also the hotel offers huge variety of activities around the resort. We had a wonderful time in Puri Gangga resort and we will be back for sure !

Pros: Everything!
Cons: Wifi is was not working properly, even in the room often disconnected.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so sweet, the villa was beautiful, free breakfast, free shuttle to Ubud, nice afternoon tea, beautiful location. The facilities and resort was extremely clean. The guests were so nice. It was an unforgettable trip. So pleased and will come back. I enjoyed eating breakfast every morning with a cute little chicken and cat. We also were visited by monkeys in the spa and on our roof.
Cons: The restaurant and alcohol were very pricey. The roosters were nonstop. Every morning at breakfast a cute young chicken would come eat with us, but n the last day he wasn’t there and that made me sad. What happened to him?? Also, the food was a little cold.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing. My way back to Ubud was my best moment during my stay.
Cons: The staff management is absolutely frightful! I asked my taxi driver about the hotel after my check out, as a good Balinese he prefered to say nothing about It, but his eyes said everything!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Quite intimate with a beautiful jungle view.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The property was absolutely beautiful, with fantastic views and reception staff were very helpful. Food was amazing and the pool was absolutely stunning. Our room was incredible with amazing views and extremely clean. The spa complimentary foot massage was lovely. Would recommend staying to friends and family based on the scenery, comforts and the pool!
Cons: The drink prices was expensive in comparison to everywhere else we went in Bali which was disappointing and surprising, and the bar staff were very slow with their service. But we just chose not to drink too much and it didn’t impact our stay at all. The spa staff were also a little rude as they spoke to each other throughout our complimentary massage. The walk back to check out was very difficult up the steps with suitcases.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The view in the jungle, the staff, the owner.
Cons: The spa services is too expensive for Bali.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, amazing location, once in a lifetime experience (you can see monkeys from your balcony and hear the jungle as you sleep)
Cons: The internet was very slow or it didn't work at all; very limited food choice and very expensive
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I liked the resort in general but in special the rooms, the spa and the swimming pool. The local dancers presentation is really good and brings community, hotel and tourists together.
Cons: The river was not accessible which was a shame and the bathroom privacy was compromised since some other guests could see us while in the bathroom and toilet. In addition the hotel could provide more transfers to the city centre specially at night (currently there are only 3 possibilities)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet Staff so friendly Food is delicious Pool has an excellent view Room is in a jungle with great view The cooking class was unique and great cousin Spa is great Facilities is excellent And the Yoga class in the revere Note, I had stayed in the hotel for three times and I highly recommend it. Also I exciting to stay again Indeed, I would like to appreciate the Management and the staff for the luxury services. Especially for Mr. Iwan and Mr. Imam Thanks
Cons: Nothing all is great
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: No complaints.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the views at sunrise, and the pool area for relaxing. Also loved the breakfast options! The French toast breakfast was to die for!
Cons: I did not like the stairs. This is not my first eco resort so I expected stairs, but not that many.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent all round, the pool and amazing views! Will definitely be back!
4,2 Okay
Pros: Clean room every day, Spa bath was fantastic, air con worked great, view was off the hook
Cons: #148 steps to get down to villa, then #148 to get back up to the top. Prices were all in USD, which was confusing The cost to do activities around resort coast an arm and a leg..... WAY TO EXPENSIVE Variety in food was way under average Portions with food was very merger
7,0 Good
Pros: Didnt think that the location was quite far from the city but actually being away from the city is what we need as me and my husband needed to gateaway from anything and just spend sometime together walk and talk and enjoy nature and being in the village.
Cons: We arrived late and maybe the staff havent check if our hot water working or not. We didnt have hot water at the first night. The following morning all works well but not much water preassure. We are not mind at all to find insects as this is a resort in nature and we live in a village ourselves and familiar with many small creatures as part of the biodiversity..but the flies were too many during our stay till the point that we cant dine or have brrakfast at the restaurant..we were just being attack by flies so maybe better for the management to solve this issue.
6,7 Good
Pros: Beautiful location Friendly staff Food prepared and presented with care Good breakfast Massage on the villa balcony was a must-do experience
Cons: With a new owner, the hotel goes trough a necessary revamping ( revamped villa is beautiful). This causes noise and hinderance from the works hereto related. The AC in the room is too small, the internet speed is extremely poor. My suggestion: wait to book until you are sure that you get a revamped villa (we were initially put in an old villa with mold, A/C that didn’t work, balcony doors that could not close,...) and that there is no construction work going on anymore.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view, spacious rooms full of light
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything but the pool in front of the forest is amazing, it's a peace of paradise
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Pool were amazing. The quiet atmosphere was perfect.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location and views from this place are out of this world. We were blown away at sunrise every morning; we could look out our window and see the sun over Mount Batur. Absolutely amazing.
Cons: This was fine for us, but just good to note for others: you are in the middle of the jungle so things like lizards and bats may end up in your room. The bugs outside also scream at sunset and sunrise and will likely wake you up. If You are a nature lover like us, it will be no problem for you.
Saudara Home - Tegalalang - Bedroom

Featured amenities include laundry facilities, a library, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Bed is fine, the villa is big & nice rice field view, nice swimming pool.
Cons: I couldn’t shower, the water not comings properly, too slow & need to wait more than 10 minutes for hot shower. Too dark at night, only in the room, stairs, & common area have lights, in several area haven’t enough Lighting in gazebo, 2nd floor terrace, garden, entrance, pool. No wifi in the bedroom. Kitchen so spooky.
7,0 Good
Pros: The staff, particularly Kadek, welcomed us with typical Balinese warmth. First impressions of the property are breathtaking— beautiful views of the green green rice fields. Then we passed the swimming pool which had a sludgey film on it because they’re “having trouble with the filter.” Our room overlooked the rice fields. Great! The 1/2 hour shuttle to & from the center of Ubud with Kadek or Wayan was fun & they were always on time & generous with stories & pointing out the sights.
Cons: Somehow there was an air of neglect about the place. The bathroom fixtures are wobbly & stained. Hot water takes forever & the water pressure is very slight. No water from kitchen sink. The fact is the property sold two months ago. It is no longer French-owned as listed online. The new owner from Java, recently had a stroke & it feels like he bought the property for his own recuperation? He sits & smokes cigarettes in the entryway. Attendants come to help him walk from here to there. We were the only guests so it felt awkward.
7,9 Good
Pros: The view over the ricefield terrasses were amazing. The diner was excellent. Free transfer to Tegalalang ricefield terrasses.
Cons: Breakfast was too tiny. The swimming pool water was dark green and out of order with no explanation or compensation. No payment with credit card as noticed on booking.com , only cash. The management has changed. Albert is no more in charge and the new one seems to be elsewhere...
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location in the country side near Ubud, right near the rise fields. It creates great atmosphere and gives one an opportunity to dive into traditional lifestyle. Very friendly staff.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, big rooms and clean, the bathtub was nice. Good value for money. Near the ricefields and the tirtal empul temple.
Cons: The location was a little out of the way and there wasn't any breakfast or dinner option, even though the staff did go out of the hotel to buy some food for us. It was very boring once it got dark outside as we couldn't go out and there was no food in hotel.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: the scenery surrounding really awesome ! the simple breakfast very nice. and the owner are very welcome to the customer. really a nice place to stay. planning to stay longer next time.
Cons: lack of fresh air for bedroom without open the door or windows. maybe better if there's more upper small windows open, so it can make the fresh air going through the room without open windows and curtains.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: The location is so beautiful in the hidden gem of Tegallalang. The ricefield & homey style of villa, good for family day out.
Cons: I can’t shower properly because the water doesn’t work good & not come out strongly, and it seems like not a shower but leaking water from the shower head. I need to wait 15 minutes for the hot water, not really hot. Also if you turn the cold water, you will not feel any hot water anymore.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was expensive for what we got but overall the place was great to stay!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location was fabulous overlooking the rice paddy fields. The soporific sound of frogs was such a lovely change to mopeds!
Cons: Very minor issues but no bin in bedroom, plug sockets were lose and the quirky design of the shower meant that the bathroom floor flooded excessively (easily resolved by providImg a shower scrapper thing)
