Tbilisi Marriott Hotel

Absolutely amazing location on the Rustaveli Avenue. Room was well appointed and spacious. Though the hotel has got an amazing location, be careful while booking in a peak season. They may be overbooked and not offer you the same type of room what you have booked.

Property is good but do check everything before you go and keep following up with the hotel to ensure that you get what you have paid for. Our experience was as below- We booked room with king size bed and paid in advance but we were given the room with twin bed. There was no tea/coffee maker in the room in spite of mentioning in the room facilities - we didn't book the breakfast and hence it was very important for us to have kettle in the room. It was provided to us in the midnight after we asked for it. Hotel was fully booked and they couldn't help with the wrong room given. I was told that it was a mistake of booking.com and they promised to confirm it to me via email from reservation team. After I checked out nobody bothered to send me any email. At last after my follow up, the hotel team accepted that it was their mistake. Even after accepting the mistake, they didn't offer me a refund and expected me to travel again to Tbilisi to receive their hospitality. Certainly, not an experience one would expect out of a Marriott property!!
