Pleasant stay at a business hotel situated in the newly built retail district in Taipei, very close to a number of luxury shopping and dining venues. In walking distance to Taipei's 101 Tower, formerly the tallest building in the world. Breakfast has a good choice of Western and Asian options, the room (we had a small suite) was very well equipped and the bed was exceptionally comfortable! Very friendly and attentive staff. Also, the hotel has an interesting art collection, which is always a bonus.
The bar and lobby area was somewhat sterile and uninviting. When we sat down for a drink at the bar in the evening, the loud techno music seemed completely out of place and even after requesting to turn it down, we were told it had to be on. After our experience there we went for drinks at the more inviting bar at Humble House hotel just around the corner and found it much more enjoyable.

Great location even better than “W”! A team of friendly and helpful Front Office Staffers, especially Mr. Oscar Chang, the Front Office Duty Manager. Such a pleasant and well mannered gentleman! Someone who went beyond the whole nine yards to help us !!
Pillows not too comfy, single beds can be a bit wider, like those of “W” and a lighter comforter!!
