Boarding process is tortures without gates.
TAP needs to allocate gates at airport. Boarding and disembarking using buses is tortures in hot weather.
Crew and flight were excellent! THIS is how a crew and a pilot should act! They were nothing like our Rome to Lisbon flight! The few things that could be better? Organize the buses better and have better food choices. Also get bigger glasses for soda, water and juices. Other than that, this flight was excellent! John and Barb Sanford Plainville, CT USA
In Business Class, it would have been nice to be offered a beverage upon boarding. Food was very mediocre. Staff was friendly and courteous, but never seemed to go above and beyond.
Basic international flying experience.
Packing people into a bus like sardines and then making them wait for at least 10-15 minutes before driving them to a location a mile away is not the way a national airline should represent itself. And it seems like everyone chosen for additional screening was a woman. What is up with that?
Delayed. No gate.
I like: The food provided was really good. I really enjoyed it Dislike: I couldn't open my window during the whole trip. Every time I wanted to do it, one of the crew came to me saying "please close it" It was a day flight. I wanted to have my window open and they didn't let me.

This would have been an okay flight, had it not been for the following. At the boarding line they had another line for luggage control of some kind, basically they weighed your carry on luggage together with your personal item together (in my case my backpack), and if it was overweight they asked for 125 euros right then and there. We basically couldn’t board without forking over the 125 euros. It was insane the price. I’ve paid maybe 50 euros in the past for overweight carry ons but 125, more than double is unjust. I flew TAP from Florence to Lisbon and we had no such treatment nor weighing of our carry ons. And then when we flew from Lisbon to JFK, they had a whole line of individuals asking them to fork over the 125 euros. Their weight limitations is considerably low compared to other airlines. Very upset. In addition the bathroom on board had a good amount of water (or maybe even pee) in the bathroom floor. In addition the the garbage slot in the bathroom was over flowing. This was at the start of the flight so it was clear that no one had cleaned the bathroom. In addition they tray tables were also not clean. Mine was covered in a sticky substance and I ended up having to wipe it down myself. I did my best to avoid using the bathroom again during this 7 hour flight. And when I told the stewardess of the bathroom, she said it wasn’t their job to clean the bathroom, which could be true I guess. You would think an airline was more sanitary especially after COVID. Would Not fly TAP again and do not recommend. Spend your money elsewhere.

Pros: Worst customer service or actually non-existent, rude and ignorant agents. Will never fly with them again.
Cons: TAP should simply shutdown or do a major reform as the airline operates in the last century.
Pros: Food service was very good - and the crew kept going even after we hit turbulence. I'd already been served, but I know from past experience with other airlines that there's nothing worse than smelling the hot food and being told that service is being discontinued,,,,while you're now hungry

Pros: The crew was attentive but only on the basic standard service.
Cons: I truly love that there are very few travelers. Also, I went through a lot getting to have done a covid test in order to travel, no one asked for it! Also when filling the custom forms they could have been and explain that one paper form was enough for a whole family
Cons: The clarity about baggage fees, really unclear and very expensive.
Cons: The flight wasn't full but still had some people seated next to each other. Flights should allow for social distancing right now
Cons: Business class food is a disgrace. On the way to Lisbon they had at least some warm meal, skipped now and just got a box with bad, cold food. The crew was apologetic.
Pros: I couldn't take the fly. And no body answer! No by the phone, no body on the airport, no body on Facebook, I can't by the web. I need help and no body answer.
