Nice flight for a low cost carrier. So much better than my frontier experience later the same day.
They claim that there’s turbulence so they are not offering snacks and drinks but there is no turbulence the entire time.
The crew on both departure and reform flights are gruff and very loud, classless. Flights should have a calmer atmosphere, especially for those that have flying fears. Sun Country really disappoints.
Delayed flight. No beverage service. A crew member was sullen. Expensive baggage and seating fees.
Smooth check in and on time flight
On time flight. Smooth boarding and smooth flight. I paid a little extra to sit up front but really enjoyed the extra leg room. Would flySun Country again.
Love the nonstop from pdx to msp. Clean quick boarding. On time.
Nothing. It all went smoothly.
Pros: Nothing. Sun country airlines was 30 mins late to bird allow travelers to board their plane then 1 hour late to leave after that then 20 mins late to deboard, so in total they were 2 hours late
Cons: Their staff needs to be on time to board and takeoff. Sun country airlines was 30 mins late to bird allow travelers to board their plane then 1 hour late to leave after that then 20 mins late to deboard, so in total they were 2 hours late
Pros: Crew, seats, experience;?all were wonderful!
Cons: More flights to/from Portland
Pros: Crew was friendly and engaging throughout the flight. Gate agents as well. Plane and terminal remain very clean as they always should have been.
Cons: Seats are incredibly uncomfortable as always. Tailbone was again painful for 2-3 days like every Sun Country flight. Head rests are like plywood and do not a allow restful position. The landing was quite hard. Many surprised screeches on this one.
Pros: Boarding in general went quite quick considering the number of customers requiring assistance. Flight attendants were pleasant greeting us while boarding.
Cons: Seats are extremely uncomfortable. My tailbone is very painful for 2-3 days after each flight. The headrests are hard and force my head forward. cannot rest comfortably. Narrow seats are an ongoing issue with most airlines. The number of flight attendant intercom scolding's to remain in seats could have been less. Sometimes people just need to use a restroom. I wasn't one of them but certainly understand the need in flight, turbulence or not.
Pros: On time. Nice crew. Comfortable flight.
Cons: More entertainment variety.
Pros: Crew were fine- did what they had to do: distributed tiny bottle of water, picked up trash, were polite to passengers. Otherwise, no interaction.
Cons: Crowded airplane during a pandemic. Greed motivates Sun Country Airlines- overcrowding, seats are paid extra, baggage is extra including carryon. Flight arrived on time, but it took two (2) hours to get out of the airport, waiting for a gate and baggage. Landed at 10:10p- left airport with bag at 12:10a. Will try never t o fly with them again!
Pros: Boarding went smoothly. Crew was nice.
Cons: The airfi wifi was very intermittent. That should be addressed for international flights! Also, seat was supposed to have a usb cord and there wasn’t one. We would have picked a different airline for an international flight had we known that. Tray backs were dirty too.
Cons: Hand sanitizing wipes on board.
Pros: We arrived on time in Minneapolis
Cons: Less turbulance
Pros: I liked that birding started from the last rows.
Cons: Sun country did absolutely nothing in regards to protecting their passengers from COVID. Delta was absolutely amazing and I was soo impressed with the extra measures they are taking, sun country should definitely take notes from Delta. As for sun county I will not be flying them again anytime soon, unless they are able to improve their policies on covid.
Pros: Nothing. Regretted purchasing my flight with Sun Country would have much rather flown Delta. Worse than Spirit airlines.
Cons: No COVID precautions. Definitely not 6 feet apart procedures. No cleaning nor sanitation done for seats. Delta at least provides hand sanitizer wipes. & has middle seats closed off due to COVID. Hate that they charge for even a carry on. Ridiculous. Should have flown Delta.
Pros: The entertainment was great surprise and the crew helpful in getting everyone connected.
Cons: Boarding! Other airlines are boarding from the back to the front. Absolutely no social distancing on this flight...by the time I was called to board, proceed to the back of the plane the others in my row had to get up & move so I could get to my window seat. In a world of technology, boarding can be done more efficiently.
Pros: The flight got me to MCO on time and was very inexpensive.
Cons: Flight was overcrowded with very poor Covid safety procedures. I recently flew, the same route on Delta and felt much better about cleanliness, empty middle seats, masks, etc.
Pros: Boarding from back to front. Kind staff.
Cons: Social distancing enforced, especially when off boarding.
Pros: Over crowded. Scaled down the aisle to add extra seats. I weigh 100lbs. and am 5'2". My knees were crammed into seat in front of me. No beverage or food service and no discount for that.
Cons: More worried about carry on luggage than customer experience.
Pros: Don’t really interact with the crew much as people remain to themselves with Covid. But have always found the crew friendly in past flights
Cons: When plane is partly empty due to Covid why do they seat non family members next to each other when they could be placed in a row alone
Pros: There was little interaction due to Covid precautions, however the crew was friendly upon entrance and exit.
Cons: There was a child in front of me that should have had a mask on but was not enforced well.
Cons: The flight was pretty full, there were very few vacant seats and there was not enough space for social distancing. Also, quite a few of the hand sanitizer machines were empty at the MSP and MCO terminals.
Cons: We are in the midst of a pandemic and while masks were "required," the number of passengers not wearing a mask or wearing a mask incorrectly was obscene. The flight attendants needed to be reminding people and correcting people on their mask wearing. More importantly, the airline needs to be upholding the safety of their passengers! I was also seated DIRECTLY next to another passenger, which breaks all social distancing. And while I repeatedly asked him to fix his mask, it still always managed to fall off his face while sleeping. I know it isn't really the fault of the crew, but I think the airline needs to do a better job.
Pros: The star wars movie
Cons: getting drunk
Cons: I loved it great crew great pilot great seats! The only I missed was having screens on the back of my seats. Thankfully the inflight WiFi was working fantastic which definitely was a plus! I am looking forward to my next flight in sun country!
